WWE has announced the names of the new signings joining the WWE Performance Center as part of their latest class of recruits. The list includes professional wrestlers, Olympic athletes, an NXT referee, and relatives of company legends.
Among the chosen ones, Aalyah Gutierrez stands out, daughter of WWE superstar Rey Mysterio. In recent weeks, there has been much talk about her signing, and Mysterio himself has confirmed it.
The new recruits
- Cara Brown: Former collegiate freestyle wrestling athlete, competed in high school and at the University of Cumberlands.
- Katie Reynolds: New WWE NXT referee. Previously worked on the independent circuit under the name Alice Lane.
- Aalyah Gutierrez: Daughter of Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio and sister of Dominik Mysterio. Her signing had already been reported by PWInsider.
- Zoë Sager: Canadian independent professional wrestler, trained at the Lance Storm Wrestling Academy. Competed in Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling, appeared in AEW and WWE's EVOLVE, and was part of the WWE ID program.
- Ana da Silva: Former Brazilian Olympic track and field athlete. Competed in the Paris 2024 Olympics in women's shot put.
- Jackson Goonrey: Australian professional wrestler from Dubbo, New South Wales. Competed on the Australian independent circuit and was a contestant on Australian Survivor.
- Tyran Tuckey: Australian professional wrestler trained at the Pro Wrestling Academy (PWA) in Sydney. Known as "The Tuckman" or "Australia's Mullet," he has been the Soul of PWA Champion and multiple IWA Heavyweight Champion, in addition to appearing in ROH and NJPW TAMASHII.
A diverse profile
With this new class, WWE continues to expand its recruitment network beyond traditional wrestling, incorporating Olympic athletes, international independent circuit competitors, and media personalities. The mix of experience, family legacy, and athletic potential once again reflects the company's strategy to diversify its future talent pool.
