WWE Announces the Remaining Teams for the 2026 Dusty Rhodes Classic

WWE has completed the lineup of participants for the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic 2026. This Sunday, the company added Tokyo Bad Boys, Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux, Harley Riggins and Jax Presley, Shido Ash and Viktor Zanov, as well as Hank and Tank (Hank Walker and Tank Ledger) to the 14-team tournament.

The first-round pairings have not been announced yet, but WWE has confirmed that the tournament will kick off on this Tuesday's episode of NXT. With these new additions, the updated list of teams is as follows:

Straight to Quarterfinals

As previously confirmed, The Vanity Project (Ricky Smokes and Brad Baylor) and The Wagner Brothers (Son of Dr. Wagner Jr. and Galeno) are automatically qualified for the second round for being the current NXT and AAA Tag Team Champions, respectively. The Vanity Project regained their titles by defeating Myles Borne and Tavion Heights at NXT Heatwave, while The Wagner Brothers defeated War Raiders on night 2 of Triplemanía 34 to become the new AAA Tag Team Champions.

Format and Start

With a total of 14 teams, the first round of the tournament will consist of six matches. The six winners will join The Vanity Project and The Wagner Brothers in the quarterfinals. The tournament will begin this Tuesday on NXT, although the matchups for the show are still unknown.
