The women's division of All Elite Wrestling (including ROH) has just added a new name. It is Mara Sadé, who recently left TNA Wrestling. At that time, rumors pointed to her arrival at Tony Khan's company, something that has finally happened, as revealed by the latest report from Fightful Select.
"Mara Sade's website included her this week as an AEW wrestler, something that had been in the works for quite some time. Sources from All Elite Wrestling informed Fightful this summer that they expected Sade to join the company. Sean Ross Sapp has confirmed that Mara Sade reached a contractual agreement with AEW, which came into effect last week," the media wrote.
"Sade had discussions with WWE after becoming a free agent and also received an offer from TNA Wrestling, but ultimately decided to sign with All Elite Wrestling. Previously, Sade competed in WWE under the name Jakara Jackson. The wrestler fulfilled her contractual commitments with TNA without a new contract, as she was still participating in the tournament for the TV Knockouts World Championship. As we have been informed, the agreement is full-time and includes a fixed salary," the report concluded.
Mara Sadé signed with TNA Wrestling in 2025 after a four-year stint in WWE. However, her first appearances on the company's television programming date back to her time as an NXT superstar. Since her arrival at TNA, Sadé became a regular wrestler on television, starring in prominent rivalries with talents like Ryan Nemeth and Elayna Black.
In her recent appearances, she joined Rosemary and Allie as part of the latter's resurrection storyline. Before her departure, she was participating in the tournament that determined M By Elegance as the first Television Champion of the Knockouts in history. Sadé is in a romantic relationship with AEW star Kevin Knight, one of the reasons that would have led her to choose this company.
