Two more names have joined the Money in the Bank ladder matches. In this Monday's Raw, Penta and Roxanne Pérez secured their spots for the matches that will take place on October 10th in New Orleans.
Penta entered the match last minute as a replacement for Solo Sikoa. Before the main event of Raw, the group 946 was seen attacking Sikoa, putting him in their car and driving off with him, in what WWE presented as a kidnapping. In response, General Manager Adam Pearce announced Penta as the replacement. The Mexican wrestler ended up winning the triple threat match against Dragon Lee and Dominik Mysterio, after slamming Dominik into an exposed corner and finishing with a Mexican destroyer from the second rope.
On the women's side, Roxanne Pérez qualified by defeating IYO SKY and La Catalina in a triple threat match. The ending came with SKY hitting a moonsault on Catalina, but Pérez immediately responded with a Pop Rocks on SKY to secure the victory and her spot.
There are still spots to be filled in both matches, leaving the door open for more qualifiers in the upcoming weeks before the PPV on October 10th.
