A tragic news has just struck the world of professional wrestling. Benjamin Satterley, better known as PAC in All Elite Wrestling, has passed away today at the age of 40. The company has been responsible for making the sad news public through its Twitter account/X.
"All Elite Wrestling regrets to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, known as Pac. Born in Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and then performed for wrestling promotions around the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible ring skills. PAC signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019, held multiple AEW Championships, and competed in some of the most memorable matches in AEW history. Our condolences go out to Satterley's family, friends, and fans," it wrote.
Benjamin Satterley, globally known as PAC, is considered one of the most prominent British wrestlers of his generation. A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, he began his professional career in 2004, earning a great reputation in the independent circuit and especially in the Japanese promotion Dragon Gate, where he stood out for his spectacular aerial style and athletic ability. In 2012, he made the leap to WWE, where he competed under the name Adrian Neville -later Neville- and became one of the biggest stars of the Black & Gold era of NXT. There, he won the NXT Championship and the NXT Tag Team Championships, before also finding success in the cruiserweight division, where he was a two-time champion.
After leaving WWE in 2018, he reclaimed the name PAC and returned to Dragon Gate, before becoming one of the early major signings of All Elite Wrestling in 2019. Among his achievements are becoming the first All-Atlantic champion, a title that was later renamed the International Championship, and winning the World Trios Championship -twice-, first with Penta El Zero M and Rey Fénix in Death Triangle and later with members of the Death Riders. PAC had his last match on September 26, 2026, at AEW All Out, where he faced Andrade "El Ídolo" for the National Championship. At the moment, the cause of his death is unknown, which has shocked the entire community.
