Steven Borden starred in one of the most talked-about moments of AEW All Out, and not for the reasons the wrestler expected. Borden had prepared a spot with Kevin Knight, but something went wrong and he ended up lying on the mat, unable to continue his match. The wrestler was taken out on a stretcher to be treated at the hospital, where good news soon arrived.

"Yes, AEW announced that he was in the hospital after the match, that he was conscious and talking about the match. I had heard that he was very interested in performing that move and that other people who participated in the match were concerned after what happened, but ultimately everything turned out as best as possible considering how the incident had been. Borden will be back in action soon, as long as he is well in the coming weeks," Sapp stated.

The spot in question was based on an aerial interception. Borden was supposed to stop Knight in mid-air, who was trying to perform a Coast to Coast on Allin. Both men collided in the air, as planned, but something went wrong. Steven fell onto the mat, hitting his head hard, although it is possible that the mishap occurred in the collision with Kevin. In any case, the referee soon realized that Borden was not well, so he called the medical team, who attended to the wrestler on the mat.

After some distressing minutes, the official ended the match and Borden was taken out on a stretcher without the images being shown on screen.
