Live Report of WWE NXT October 6, 2026

WWE NXT begins on Netflix!

Zilla Fatu vs. Lexis King (with Arianna Grace, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Uriah Connors, and Charlie Dempsey)

Zilla attacks Lexis during his entrance. Fatu delivers a chop to his opponent before bringing him into the ring. Zilla confronts the rest of BirthRight before returning to the ring, where the match officially begins. Fatu dominates the early stages of the match, hitting and taking down his opponent repeatedly.

Zilla unleashes a flurry of headbutts on King in one of the corners. BirthRight pulls their partner out of the ring to safety, at which point Fatu launches himself at all of them. The Samoan brings Lexis back into the ring, where he is attended to by the referee. "Stacks" and Dempsey try to attack Fatu, but he doesn't allow it. Now it's Arianna who gets on the apron to distract the official, a moment that Lexis takes advantage of to kick the ropes, thus damaging the Samoan's groin.

King throws Zilla against the barricade. After that, he applies a side slam directly onto the apron. Lexis continues punishing Fatu back inside the ring. Lexis hits Zilla in one of the corners before applying a Bulldog. 1..2..NO. King catches the Samoan in a sleeper hold. Fatu carries his opponent on his back to launch himself against one of the corners, thus achieving his release.

Lexis surprises Zilla with a Rope Guillotine and then finishes him off with a diving neckbreaker. 1..2..NO. King catches the Samoan in a sleeper hold again. Fatu breaks free. King dodges the impact of a back senton to respond with a flurry of kicks. Now it's Zilla who dodges one of these kicks to counter with a pop-up Samoan drop.

Fatu continues attacking Lexis, whom he immobilizes in one of the corners. Zilla launches himself at him with a diving headbutt. Connors, Dempsey, and Lorenzo try to intervene, but Fatu quickly gets rid of all of them. Zilla refocuses his attention on his opponent, whom he knocks down to the mat. Fatu heads to the corner to prepare for his final attack. King stands up, only to receive the impact of a Triple Z. 1..2..3.

Winner: Zilla Fatu

Connors, "Stacks," and Dempsey launch an assault on Zilla after the match. Charlie hits the Samoan with a metal chair while his partners hold him down. Dempsey pulls his victim out of the ring to throw him against the metal steps. BirthRight uses those same steps to crush the Samoan's right hand. He screams in pain as his attackers pose over him. Several officials come to assist Fatu. This concludes this segment.

Emily Agard interviews Kelani Jordan backstage. Agard asks the NXT Women's Champion about the battle royal taking place tonight, which will determine her opponent at Halloween Havoc. Kelani points out that there are 20 women who want to prove they deserve to share the ring with "The Standout." Jordan confesses that one of those women, Reina Volcan, has caught her attention. However, it's one thing to attack the champion from behind, and another very different thing to defeat 19 other opponents in a battle royal. Chantel Monroe interrupts the interview to ensure that she will be the one to win the battle royal. And once she faces Kelani at Halloween Havoc, she will take the championship from her. Layla Diggs joins the conversation. Diggs recalls that she was never able to cash in the title opportunity she won a few months ago, so this is very personal for her. Layla promises Kelani that she will have to face her at Halloween Havoc because tonight she will be the one to win the battle royal. "See, Emily? I told you. Desperate," says Jordan to Agard as she points to the EVOLVE wrestlers. "Girls, at Halloween Havoc there will be a memorable moment, but it will be Kelani Jordan's doing. Good luck," adds the champion before leaving.

Dion Lennox delivers a video promo to address Cruz Montana. Lennox listened carefully to the Puerto Rican last week and understood why he has the fans' sympathy. It's because Cruz speaks from the heart. However, Montana continues to act as if he had taken the hardest path in life. Lennox points out that it's not true. Montana chose the easy path. "You got yourself into the situation you were in. You filled your body with toxins. Probably the same ones your mother used to sell," says Lennox. He knows he chose the hard path. He dedicated his life to turning his body into a well-oiled machine. His parents helped him stay on this path by providing him with the necessary tools and keeping him focused on his goal. And Cruz thinks he had it hard? No. The truly hard thing is making the right decision every day. The hard thing is keeping expectations high because if he fails, he will disappoint all those who have supported him. Dion can't waste an opportunity that only 1% manage to have. And that involves a lot of pressure. Lennox has lived a life planned down to the smallest detail: discipline, when to eat, when to sleep, when to train. And yes, many times he wanted to go out with his friends. But he never did. He chose the path of personal sacrifice and, thanks to that, he was able to fulfill two dreams (becoming a WWE superstar and winning a championship in the company). Dion points out that these stories always take a back seat, while Montana is praised for his. But he understands it because his story is not as tearful as the Puerto Rican's. Dion reminds Cruz that it took him 20 years to get to WWE. He, however, only needed two. "You said your past was your superpower, Cruz. I hope for your own good that it's true. Because you may have beaten your addiction, but you will never beat me. And once I defeat you, I will send you back to that dark place. Then we'll see if you can get out of that hole again," says Dion to end his promo.

We see Cruz Montana listening attentively to Lennox's promo when Lizzy Rain appears on the scene. Rain acknowledges that Lennox has the courage to say those things. Montana, for his part, hopes that Dion will back up his words with actions. Lizzy confesses that she wouldn't want to be in Lennox's shoes right now. Cruz changes the subject to wish the British wrestler luck in tonight's battle royal. Rain thanks her for her words. They fist bump to say goodbye. Xia Brookside appears on the scene. "Wow! Now you support her? You've really changed...", says the Knockouts World Champion to her former locker room mate before leaving. "What have I changed?", whispers the Puerto Rican as the segment comes to an end.

Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic - First Round
Hank Walker and Tank Ledger vs. Shido Ash and Viktor Zanov

Ash and Walker start the match. Shido takes down Hank, who decides to tag in Tank. He faces off against Viktor. The Russian escapes a headlock and takes Ledger down to the mat. Hank tries to intervene, but Shido charges at him to tackle him. The former tag team champions remain near one of the corners, surprised by the physical power of the EVOLVE talents.

Tank and Hank work together perfectly to take control. Ash surprises Walker to take him to ringside, where he hits him at will. Shido brings his opponent back into the ring for Zanov to continue attacking him. Viktor and Ash take turns hitting Hank. He blocks a suplex from Shido to surprise him with a roll-up. 1..2..NO. Walker escapes his rivals to tag in Tank, who enters with full force.

Ledger deals with Shido and Viktor at the same time. The EVOLVE talents end up at ringside. Tank launches himself at Zanov with a corner cannonball. Meanwhile, Hank applies a Pounce on Ash to throw him over the commentary table. Ledger brings Viktor back into the ring, where he hits him with a Swanton Bomb. Hank and Tank prepare to crush the Russian, but Ash prevents it from ringside. Shido grabs Ledger's leg, allowing his partner to surprise Walker with a scoop powerslam. 1..2..NO.

Ash takes down Tank on the floor and returns to the ring. The EVOLVE talents prepare for a combined attack on Hank, but he escapes them. Ledger returns to action. Tank and Hank take down the Russian with a clothesline + spear combo. Viktor ends up at ringside, where he receives a suicide dive from Ledger. Meanwhile, Walker takes down Shido with a Black Hole Slam before applying a hip attack in the ropes area. Ledger returns to the ring to join his partner. Both crush Ash in the center of the ring before finishing him off with their combined finisher. Tank covers him. 1..2..3.

Winners: Hank Walker and Tank Ledger

We move backstage, where BirthRight has just attacked Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux. Uriah Connors boasts about the attacks carried out by his faction tonight. Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, on the other hand, sends a threat to anyone who tries to mess with them.

Grayson Waller makes his way to the ring. With a microphone in hand, the Australian reminds everyone that he is still the NXT Champion. Waller acknowledges that he loved what happened last week. The "old Grayson Waller" might have been upset by the change of plans last week, but this version 2.0 is different because this is exactly what he was looking for when he returned to the brand. Grayson congratulates EK Prosper on his great match. He also advises him not to be disappointed by his defeat, as he at least had a great gift: rubbing shoulders with Grayson Waller. The Australian assures him that one day he will hold the top championship in NXT. But it won't be today. That said, he wonders who will be the next to step up.

Myles Borne interrupts the segment!

Borne enters the ring, where he receives a microphone directly from Grayson. Myles imagines that the Australian didn't expect to see him in the ring. However, he's tired of acting the way others would expect him to. It's time to do what's best for him. And now that he has finally left his story with Tavion Heights in the past, it's time to conquer the only NXT title he hasn't held. Myles has discovered the only way to reach the top. A way he learned from Waller. Borne knows that he must behave selfishly, ruthlessly, and unbreakably. "That's exactly what I am now," says a smiling Myles. "This is the kind of fire I wanted to see! Finally, someone has listened to Grayson Waller! Someone has paid attention to what I say!", says the Australian.

Tony D'Angelo appears on the scene!

"This is not over, Grayson. Not until I say so," exclaims D'Angelo as he heads towards the ring. Tony advises Borne to test his new self against another talent since he has unfinished business with the champion. D'Angelo recalls that Waller has stated that he is not the same man as before, but they both know that's a lie. "Because if I had come out here (as champion), you would have started screaming like crazy, giving all the excuses in the world to justify that you weren't ready," says Tony. Myles addresses D'Angelo to indicate that it's not his moment, but the former champion tells him to shut up. Tony makes it clear that his goal is to regain HIS championship. The one that Grayson wants to restore the prestige to. "Your title? I don't see it," replies the Australian. He reminds D'Angelo of his words when Cruz Montana and Waller were arguing over a title shot. So he will offer him the same deal. Grayson proposes to Myles and Tony to face off one-on-one. The winner will be able to challenge him for the title. Borne faces off with Grayson. Suddenly, he turns to knock out Tony. Myles confronts Waller again. And so we reach the end of this segment.

William Regal approaches EK Prosper to congratulate him on his match last week. Regal has seen many talents come through NXT. And he can say, without fear of being wrong, that EK Prosper has what it takes to be a world champion. That's why he encourages him to keep going. EK Prosper shakes hands with the Briton as he thanks him for his words. EK Prosper leaves, and a concerned Robert Stone appears. Regal approaches the General Manager. He wants to talk to the legend about BirthRight's behavior. As a former General Manager of NXT, Regal understands the complications of running the brand. William knows that Uriah Connors and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo have competed in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, but his son Charlie and Lexis King have not. That's why he proposes them as replacements for Dorian Van Dux and Sean Legacy. Stone doesn't consider it appropriate to reward bad behavior by giving them a place in the tournament. Regal understands perfectly, but in this job, quick decisions have to be made. And he doesn't think there's any other team ready to compete tonight. "Alright, Charlie and Lexis are in," says Stone. "Robert, I knew you were the right man for the job," says Regal as he puts his hand on the General Manager's shoulder. The legend leaves to end the segment.

Shiloh Hill vs. Naraku

Both men size each other up. Naraku surprises Hill with a knee strike before pushing him over the ropes. Shiloh holds onto the ropes to avoid falling to ringside. Hill returns to attack the Japanese wrestler, applying two consecutive powerslams. Shiloh traps Naraku in a headlock on the mat. The Japanese wrestler frees himself, only to be hit with a flying shoulder tackle.

Naraku recovers to take down his opponent with a neckbreaker. The Japanese wrestler catches Hill in a headlock. Shiloh escapes his clutches, but a punch sends him directly to ringside. Naraku goes after his opponent to continue hitting him. Hill gets his revenge by delivering a punch to Naraku, whom he brings back into the ring. Both men exchange a punch simultaneously, followed by a headbutt and a clothesline. This last attack leaves them lying on the mat.

Naraku throws Hill against the bottom rope before trapping him in a tight submission hold. Shiloh carries his rival against one of the corners in an attempt to free himself, but he fails. Naraku rubs Hill's face on the top rope. Hill executes a suplex to escape the hold. Shiloh catches the Japanese wrestler to apply a shoulder breaker. 1..2..NO.

The action moves to the top turnbuckle. Hill knocks Naraku down before diving off with a diving clothesline. 1..2..NO. Naraku drops his opponent onto the top rope before hitting him with a faceplant. Naraku continues attacking Hill, crushing him with a senton. 1..2..NO. Naraku locks Shiloh in an STF. Hill crawls toward the ropes to force the break. Naraku hits Hill with a Guillotine Rope before finishing him off with a Darkness Fall. 1..2..NO.

Shiloh dodges another senton to launch a counterattack. Hill takes the Japanese wrestler down before hitting him with his signature spinning senton. 1..2..NO. Naraku decides that he has had enough and prepares his special attack. The Japanese wrestler gets ready to spit blue mist at Hill, but Hill covers his mouth. The Japanese wrestler escapes from his opponent and tries once again. Shiloh ducks, causing the blue mist to end up in the referee's face, prompting him to call for the end of the match.

No Contest

Hill and Naraku continue fighting at ringside. Several officials appear on the scene to try to restore order. Thus, we come to the end of this segment.

We see another session between Kendal Grey and her sports psychologist. He reminds her that, during their session last week, they talked about how much Grey pushes herself and how there are certain situations beyond her control. Kendal agrees. Tonight, for instance, she was unable to take part in the battle royal that will determine the next challenger for the NXT Women's Championship. And this time, the blame was not on her injury, but on herself. Grey has pushed herself so hard throughout her entire life that she has finally realized that she is her own biggest rival. It is something she needs to change, although she is aware that it will not happen overnight. Kendal acknowledges that these sessions have helped her understand herself better. Her psychologist is pleased with the progress she has made and believes that it is time to bring the sessions to an end. However, he reminds her that the door to his office will always be open if she ever needs to talk to him again. Grey thanks him for that. Thus, we come to the end of this segment.

Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic - First Round
Charlie Dempsey and Lexis King (with Arianna Grace, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo and Uriah Connors) vs. Tokyo Bad Boys (Kento and Takuma)

Kento and Dempsey start the match. The Japanese wrestler catches Charlie off guard with a springboard crossbody. Kento traps Dempsey in a wristlock, but his opponent is quick to reverse the hold in his favor. Kento escapes his opponent to tag in Takuma. The Japanese duo combine perfectly against Charlie. Lexis gets the tag, only to fall into the clutches of the Tokyo Bad Boys.

Dempsey and King end up at ringside. Kento dives onto Lexis with a spinning tope, while Takuma lands on Charlie with a spectacular moonsault from the top rope. The Japanese wrestlers bring King back into the ring. Kento and Takuma prepare on the apron for their next move, but Dempsey shoves them away to prevent it.

Charlie and Kento continue the fight. Takuma gets the tag and launches an assault on Dempsey, taking him down with a Standing Spanish Fly. Takuma finishes him off with a 450 Splash. 1..2..NO. Lexis breaks up the count. Takuma gets his revenge by landing a right hand on King, who falls to ringside. Takuma climbs one of the turnbuckles. Lexis tries to approach, but Kento takes him down with a suicide dive. The distraction allows Dempsey to reach Takuma's position and hit him with a superplex. Charlie throws the Japanese wrestler into one of the turnbuckles before finishing him off with a Dragon Suplex. 1..2..3.

Winners: Charlie Dempsey and Lexis King

Dempsey snatches Vic Joseph's headsets and addresses the NXT men's roster. "First it was Zilla. Then Legacy and DVD. Now these guys. Everyone is going to realize that you can't stand in the way of BirthRight!", Charlie exclaims before throwing the headsets back to their rightful owner. The faction leaves to bring this segment to an end.

We head backstage, where we see a smiling Myles Borne walking. He addresses the camera to make it clear that he is simply updating the software he possesses. "How will I do that? By taking out the man who has been the pillar of NXT for the last five years, Tony D'Angelo. And then I'll see Grayson Waller at Halloween Havoc for the NXT Championship", Myles says before walking away.

Interpromotional battle royal for an NXT Women's Championship opportunity

The two exchange shoves in the center of the ring as chaos continues around them. Zaria catches Izzi and throws her over the top rope. Dame is eliminated. Furious, Izzi tries to get back into the ring, but several security members stop her. Dame knocks some of them out, but is eventually escorted backstage.

The action continues in the ring. Raye and Adelicious team up against Reina Volcan, but the latter gets rid of both women by smashing their heads together. Adelicious and Skylar then start fighting each other, with the brawl spilling onto the apron. Reina Volcan takes advantage of the situation to strike them, sending them crashing to ringside. Both women are eliminated. We then go to another commercial break. During the break, Monroe is eliminated by Ivy Nile.

We return to see M and Heather By Elegance joining forces with Grace against Reina Volcan... or so it seemed. The former Knockouts World Tag Team Champions surprise Arianna and throw her out of the ring. Heather and M mock her from the ropes. Suddenly, M kicks her own partner's legs, nearly sending her to ringside. Heather demands an explanation from M. She pretends to have no idea what she is talking about. Suddenly, Thea strikes M from behind. M crashes into Heather, who ends up at ringside. Hail hits M with a clothesline to eliminate her. Heather and M resume their argument at ringside.

The action continues. Lizzy unleashes a flurry of chops on Nikkita and Zaria in one of the turnbuckles. Ivy avoids becoming the Brit's third victim, but ends up taking a loud chop to the backside. Rain takes Zaria down before going after Lyons again, but Lyons is waiting for her. Nikkita tries to eliminate Lizzy from the ring, but the Brit clings to the ropes to prevent it.

La Catalina, Indi, Xia and Nile join forces to eliminate Reina Volcan from the ring, but they are no match for the Dominican's strength. The action does not stop. Rain and Nile struggle on the apron, where they exchange attacks. Lizzy hits Nile with a flying headbutt to send her crashing to the floor. Reina Volcan tries to attack Rain, but Rain kicks her away. The Brit takes advantage of her position to help Hail, Brookside and Lady Shani eliminate Reina Volcan from the ring. Furious, Reina Volcan grabs Lady Shani by the legs and pulls her out of the ring underneath the bottom rope. She then hits her with a scoop powerslam directly onto the floor. The masked wrestler remains down on the floor. Meanwhile, officials order Reina Volcan to leave and head backstage.

The action continues. Zaria hits Rain with a powerslam in the center of the ring. The Brit gets back to her feet to continue fighting the NXT Women's North American Champion, but this time she takes a backbreaker. Meanwhile, La Catalina and Thea team up against Brookside in one of the turnbuckles. Indi approaches the area to join the assault on the TNA Knockouts World Champion. Elsewhere, James lifts Nikkita onto her shoulders and places her on the apron. Kiana slides underneath the bottom rope to step onto the floor. From that position, she knocks Lyons down, eliminating her. James returns to the ring to continue the fight.

The action continues with eight women in the ring. Zaria catches Rain with a knee before throwing her over the top rope. The Brit holds on tightly to it to avoid falling to ringside. James blocks a F5 from Zaria, but can do nothing to stop a clothesline. Indi and Zaria take out Thea and Armstrong with a big boot in parallel before confronting each other. La Catalina and Lizzy are quick to attack them from behind.

Zaria takes Xia and Thea down with a double spear. The Australian then hits La Catalina with an F5 . Suddenly, Izzi appears out of nowhere, looking to surprise Zaria from behind. However, Zaria dodges her and throws Dame out of the ring for the second time tonight. Armstrong takes advantage of the Australian's distraction to shove her over the top rope. Zaria is eliminated. Izzi and Zaria begin fighting, taking their brawl backstage.

Indi blocks a hurricanrana from Brookside and tries to throw her out of the ring. Xia wraps her legs around Hartwell's body while keeping her hands on the apron. Brookside kicks Indi in the face to push her away, but her opponent shoves her, sending her crashing to the floor. Xia is eliminated. Furious, the Knockouts World Champion climbs onto the apron to grab Hartwell by the hair. Brookside pulls Indi's hair to send her falling out of the ring and eliminate her. The two women continue their own fight at ringside.

The action does not stop. Hail and James struggle on the apron. Thea tries to eliminate Kiana with a German Suplex. However, her opponent wedges her body between the ropes, causing them to strike Hail and sending her crashing to the floor. Thea is eliminated. James returns inside the ring, where she still has to deal with Lizzy, La Catalina and Armstrong. The four women waste no time attacking each other once again, with Kali and Kiana joining forces. La Catalina surprises both of them with a double Missile Dropkick. La Catalina begins a series of Corner Hip Attacks on her three opponents. Armstrong blocks one of them, catches the AAA Reina de Reinas Champion and throws her out of the ring.

Kiana takes control of the fight. James hits several corner spears on Rain and Armstrong in opposite corners. Lizzy catches the SmackDown talent with a flying headbutt. Rain throws James over the top rope, but her opponent holds on tightly to avoid falling to the floor. Armstrong tries to surprise the Brit. She moves out of the way just in time, allowing Kali to crash into Kiana, who ends up at ringside and is therefore eliminated from the match.

Rain and Kali continue fighting. Lizzy surprises Armstrong with a cutter. She then tries to throw her out of the ring with a clothesline, but both women end up hanging from the top rope. Lizzy and Armstrong exchange attacks on the apron. Kali catches Rain. She runs toward one of the ring posts, causing Armstrong to slam her head into it. She then hits a flying headbutt. The attack connects flush with Kali, but she clings to the ropes to avoid falling. The Brit, however, ends up crashing to the floor. Lizzy is eliminated.

Armstrong returns to the ring to celebrate her victory. Kali climbs the turnbuckle closest to the crowd balcony, where Kelani Jordan is standing. A confident Armstrong points toward the NXT Women's Champion when suddenly Lady Shani returns to the ring. The masked wrestler approaches Kali and shoves her from behind. Armstrong falls to ringside, becoming the final elimination. Suddenly, Lady Shani decides to remove her mask. It's Wren Sinclair! The fans go wild.

Winner: Wren Sinclair

A smiling Sinclair points toward Jordan, who watches the scene with a serious expression. Thus, we come to the end of this week's episode of NXT.
