Anna Jay has not appeared on the television programming of All Elite Wrestling since last June. The wrestler herself recently confirmed that she was dealing with a shoulder injury. One that will require her to undergo surgery, as Jay revealed in a recent live stream on her Twitch channel

It's a bit unfortunate. I have to undergo shoulder surgery, so I will be having it in the next one or two weeks. Unfortunately, I didn't want to have surgery. Obviously, no one wants to go through surgery. But, if I took so long to make a decision, it's because I consulted several doctors and surgeons to hear their opinions and make sure I am making the right decision and that it's the best for my shoulder. That's what's happening

Jay last competed on the AEW Collision show on June 6th, where she teamed up with her partner Tay Melo to face Divine Dominion (Lena Kross and Megan Bayne) for the Women's World Tag Team Championships. This could have been TayJay's last match in All Elite Wrestling, as Melo recently left the company.

According to statements from Tony Khan, the Brazilian wrestler requested her release for personal reasons. A request that the AEW president granted her. A few weeks ago, Melo stated that she has not retired from professional wrestling, although it is unknown when and where she will compete again. Meanwhile, fans can watch Jay on her live streams on her Twitch channel.
