Tubi has aired episode 82 of WWE Evolve early this morning, the new show starring the developing talent of the company. The matches of the show were recorded a few weeks ago at the WWE Performance Center. The episode featured three matches and several segments, highlighting Kale Dixon's victory over Aaron Rourke in the main event of the night.
In this news, we will provide the quick results of the show and the full video of the event.
- Cappuccino Jones and Chazz "Starboy" Hall defeated The Mog Squad (Santi Rivera and Jacari Ball) in a tag team match in the night's opener. In a brief post-match interview, Jones and Hall hinted that they would march together, as a team, to the top of EVOLVE.
- Aaron Rourke delivered a promo directed at Kale Dixon. The former WWE EVOLVE champion reminded him that their rivalry had extended for too many weeks, with Dixon even trying to injure him. "I think it's time to talk about how insecure you are," he said. Because unlike Kale, he didn't hide behind anyone. "I never have, and I never will. Tonight, you're stepping into my ring, and lightning strike me if I let you become famous at the expense of my reputation. Take note", he said to conclude his promo.
- Skylar Raye defeated Sloane Jacobs after surprising her with a Starfall.
- Kale Dixon and Alix Brooks responded to Aaron Rourke through a backstage promo. Brooks pointed out that Rourke had received the opportunities they deserved. "But that's over. It all ends tonight, because we're going to show the whole world why Kale Dixon I and Alix Brooks are the superstars that EVOLVE has needed for a long time", Dixon added.
- Kale Dixon (with Alix Brooks) defeated Aaron Rourke in the main event of the night. Brooks intervened in the final moments of the match to make Rourke fall from the top turnbuckle. This allowed Dixon to finish him off with his 96.
- Harlem Lewis called Blake Howard on the phone as the show was coming to an end to send a message to Harley Riggins. "Blake, this message is for Harley Riggins. You want to cross that line? Then cross it! I'll be back. And when I do, we'll take this war to a whole different level, because the only way I'll give up this EVOLVE Championship is if I get promoted to NXT with this title still around my waist. My intention is to leave here as a champion forever!" he said before hanging up.
