The Bloodline and 946 are already gearing up for war. Last Monday, both factions offered a preview of what could happen in WarGames with a showdown that brought together the four male members of 946 against Roman Reigns, The Usos, and Solo Sikoa. This clash led many fans to believe that both groups would face off in a four-on-four match at the next big WWE event.
However, everything points to that not being the case. According to Fightful Select, WWE's current plans involve sticking to the five-on-five format that has characterized WarGames matches on the main roster in recent years. This way, both factions would have an additional member to complete their respective teams.
"Amidst the rumors that emerged after the last episode of Monday Night Raw and the four-on-four showdown between The Bloodline and The 946, a source indicated that, as of Monday, WWE's plans are for this year's WarGames match to feature teams of five members," the outlet wrote.
"Since reintroducing this type of match, WWE has experimented with different formats, with teams consisting of four or five wrestlers per side. However, everything points to this year's edition following the most recent trend on the main roster and featuring the traditional five-on-five format, pitting The Bloodline against The 946," the report concluded.
Last year, Reigns joined forces with Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, and The Usos to take on The Vision (Bron Breakker, Logan Paul, and Bronson Reed), Drew McIntyre, and Brock Lesnar, who ultimately emerged victorious. In 2024, "The OTC" also had the assistance of CM Punk and The Usos, along with Sami Zayn, to defeat Solo Sikoa's The Bloodline, who will once again be on Reigns' side this year. It remains to be seen who the final members of each team will be in this year's male edition.
