Tubi aired episode 84 of WWE Evolve early this morning, the latest episode of the show featuring the company's developmental talent. The matches were taped several weeks ago at the WWE Performance Center. The episode featured three matches and several segments, highlighted by Nikkita Lyons' victory in a fatal four-way match to retain the WWE EVOLVE Women's Championship in the night's main event.
In this article, we will provide the quick results of the show and the full video of the episode.
- Adriana Rizzo interviewed Charlie Dempsey in the VIP section of the stands. The BirthRight member revealed that he was at the show because of his interest in CJ Valor. "He seems like an interesting guy, doesn't he?" he said.
- CJ Valor (with Max Abrams, Santi Rivera, and Jacari Ball) defeated Ulka Sasaki with a Valor Spike. After the match, the group approached Charlie Dempsey to mock him. Dempsey got up from his seat and challenged any of them to a one-on-one match. At that moment, Abrams (who was still wearing a bandage on his face) began complaining about pain, prompting his teammates to carry him out of the area.
- Nikkita Lyons blamed Sloane Jacobs for being the reason she had to defend the EVOLVE Women's Championship against three opponents that night. Jacobs apologized to her teammate, assuring her that her greatest wish was for Lyons to enjoy a lengthy championship reign. Lyons asked Sloane to join her in a meditation exercise to help them find some peace. At that moment, Vanta The Unknown appeared in the background and watched the scene, sending a chill down Jacobs' spine.
- Alix Brooks (with Kale Dixon) vs. Laynie Luck ended in a no contest after Dixon and Aaron Rourke started fighting in the middle of the ring. After ejecting Kale from the ring, Aaron grabbed a microphone and challenged his enemies to a mixed tag team match, the first in WWE EVOLVE history. Dixon and Brooks left without responding to the challenge.
- The signing of Richard Adonis to the WWE ID program was announced. The announcement was accompanied by a video in which Timothy Thatcher personally informed the talent during a WWN (World Wrestling Network) show.
- Thea Hail, Wendy Choo, and Skylar Raye were in the locker room getting ready for the main event. All three were aware that Sloane Jacobs could interfere at any moment to help Nikkita Lyons. Raye reminded her teammates that they had a numbers advantage over the heels, which should work in their favor. However, Thea made it clear that she would only fight for her own interests. Wendy, meanwhile, pointed out that the most important thing was to get the championship out of Lyons' hands, regardless of who came away with the victory. Hail and Raye agreed with her position. Finally, Thea and Skylar left the locker room, bringing the segment to an end.
- Shido Ash defeated Chazz "Starboy" Hall with a Fade to Ash.
- Harley Riggins stormed into Timothy Thatcher's office as he was preparing to announce that Harlem Lewis was injured. Riggins demanded that the EVOLVE Foreman hand over the brand's men's championship, since Lewis was not in any condition to defend it. "Don't come in here demanding anything!" an irritated Thatcher exclaimed. "No, no, no, no. Don't do your job. Just let Harlem hold the championship and not defend it," Harley said. Timothy acknowledged that Riggins had a point, but asked him to show some respect for the champion. Thatcher suggested that he wait one week, as Harlem was scheduled to provide an update on his health. "If he's not medically cleared, then maybe we could consider finding a new champion," Timothy said.
- Nikkita Lyons (with Sloane Jacobs) defeated Wendy Choo, Thea Hail, and Skylar Raye in a fatal four-way match to retain the WWE EVOLVE Women's Championship. Vanta The Unknown appeared in the closing moments of the match and attacked Choo, allowing Nikkita to pin her and secure the victory.
