During the past few weeks, we have seen how WWE is counterprogramming some of the most important events of All Elite Wrestling. Most recently, WWE confirmed that Wrestlepalooza will take place on September 20, the same day as AEW All Out.

Mercedes Moné, current flagbearer of All Elite Wrestling, made it very clear that she is not intimidated by WWE's strategy of scheduling events on the same dates as AEW. During an interview with TV Insider, the "CEO" stated that she pays no attention to what the competition does and that her focus is solely on continuing to demonstrate why she is one of the most important figures in the world of professional wrestling.

"I don't see them. I don't care. I'm 'Eight Belts Moné,' I'm a champion in so many different companies. The more shows there are, the better. If they want to put on programs when we have shows, I will always be better. I always have been, that's why I call myself 'The CEO.' They can keep doing what they want, but AEW sets the pace. If you want to see the best wrestling, watch AEW," Moné declared.

As confirmed by WWE, Wrestlepalooza will air starting at 7:00 PM (ET) on ESPN (United States) and on Netflix (internationally). According to AEW, All Out is scheduled to start an hour earlier, but both shows will overlap in timing.

Mercedes Moné has two major dates this week. First, she will face Emersyn Jayne on Friday in a title vs. title match at RevPro Global Wars. On Sunday, at AEW Forbidden Door, she will defend the TBS Championship against Alex Windsor, Persephone, and Bozilla.
