The complex judicial web surrounding the accusations of human trafficking and abuse in WWE has taken a new and concerning turn. This time, the controversy does not directly come from Vince McMahon, but from the leak of confidential medical information belonging to Janel Grant, a former employee of the company and a whistleblower in the federal case.

The situation arose when the legal team of Dr. Carlon Colker, who is pursuing a defamation lawsuit against Grant's lawyer, Ann Callis, submitted court documents that included private medical records without the necessary redactions. The files were temporarily accessible in the public court system, exposing sensitive information such as Grant's date of birth and details of her treatments.

Colker, who is not a defendant in the main lawsuit against McMahon and WWE, was mentioned by Grant in her testimony. According to the whistleblower, McMahon had sent her to the Peak Wellness clinic, where she allegedly received pills and intravenous infusions irregularly. Colker denies any irregularities and accuses Callis of damaging his reputation with false statements in the media.

Judge Sarah F. Russell quickly intervened after the controversy, ordering the original document to be sealed and demanding a corrected version. "There are clear and convincing reasons to keep Colker's response under seal until an edited version is filed," she ruled. The new document, with sensitive information redacted, has already been submitted, although the initial leak continues to generate debate.

This error exposes another front in a scandal that keeps growing. Grant argues that maneuvers like Colker's lawsuit and the difficulties in obtaining complete medical records are part of a pattern of retaliation. In fact, in a parallel process in Connecticut, Grant is suing both Colker and Peak Wellness to access more documents and communications that could involve McMahon, WWE, or their circle.

The case has also drawn attention due to the presence of lawyer Alejandro Brito, who represents Colker and is currently defending Donald Trump in several defamation lawsuits. In his filing, Brito argued that Callis' statements met the "actual malice" standard required in defamation cases against public figures, while at the same time leaving open the possibility to argue that Colker does not fall into that category.

The big question that remains unanswered is whether this leak was a result of negligence or a calculated maneuver. Some experts suggest it could simply be a procedural error on the part of Colker's lawyers, while others do not rule out the possibility that it is being used as a tactic to cause delays in the proceedings or even to indirectly expose sensitive information. Either way, the episode adds more tension to a case already filled with controversies and legal obstacles.
