Last night several standout shows took place in the independent scene, including RevPro XIII Anniversary and GCW Homecoming. The latter featured several surprises, such as the return of Nick Gage after over a year of absence from the company and an unexpected appearance by two of the most sought-after free agents at the moment.

We're talking about Karrion Kross and Scarlett, who appeared at the show dressed as druids to attack Matt Cardona, who was facing Shotzi Blackheart for the Garage Beer Championship, the new creation of "The Deathmatch King." Scarlett delivered a low blow to Cardona before Kross slammed him into a table set up in one of the corners, thus facilitating Shotzi's victory.

Later, Kross, Shotzi, and Scarlett recorded a backstage video that they posted on social media. In it, we see Kross playing the violin while singing: "I lost my dream job and I'm so sad. This is not WWE". Suddenly, Karrion smashed the violin against the wall to address the camera. "Clearly, this is not a damn work. Hey, you know what? I'm not sad anymore!", he exclaimed.

Kross stated that he will do what he does best: "destroy people." His first target will be Cardona, whose blood he promised to drink while Shotzi takes care of "snatching the crown" from him. "You're going to get f*cked without anesthesia, and he's going to drink your damn blood", said the new Garage Beer Champion. Scarlett, on her part, proclaimed Shotzi as the "true damn goddess of the independent circuit."

Karrion Kross and Scarlett left WWE shortly after SummerSlam, after negotiations to renew their contracts did not reach a successful conclusion. Kross has expressed regret over the situation, stating that the company did not treat him fairly in those negotiations. Despite this, he mentioned that he will continue to wait for a call to resume discussions. On the other hand, fans have started a movement to demand Kross's return, but it seems increasingly unlikely that what happened with R-Truth will be repeated.
