The new era of Lucha Libre AAA officially began a couple of weeks ago with the event Triplemanía XXXIII, which turned out to be a success in terms of attendance and views on WWE's YouTube channels. Before the show, Triple H and Nick Khan met with AAA talent to deliver a reassuring message, ensuring that WWE had come to help them grow, not to take over everything.

Iconic figures like The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels were present at the show, with some media outlets claiming that "The Deadman" has become a key figure in the relationship between both companies. Now, the specialized outlet Fightful has provided more details on this matter.

"During the event, Nick Khan gave a speech at AAA in which he stated that they were not there to change the company and that AAA would remain AAA. This statement was met with skepticism by our sources within AAA, although not with disdain," the outlet wrote.

"Several AAA sources that Fightful Select spoke with said they feel that WWE has clearly planted its flag in the company and that its strong influence was evident at TripleMania. However, none of those who communicated with us expressed having an issue with Nick Khan's speech or the changes made," Fightful wrote.

"Fightful Select also recently reported that The Undertaker will be present more frequently in AAA, something that Triple H (Paul Levesque) later confirmed. Undertaker is already a highly influential figure behind the scenes. WWE offered him an unprecedented contract (only comparable to Bret Hart's) for 15 years, extending 14 years after his retirement, in order to leverage his experience in various roles within the company," the report concluded.

WWE and AAA will collaborate again in the second edition of Worlds Collide. The show will take place on the afternoon of Friday, September 12 at The Pavilion at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. So far, only one match has been announced, where El Hijo del Vikingo will defend the AAA Megachampionship against Dominik Mysterio.
