This evening, WWE held a new edition of Clash in Paris. The event featured great matches and highlights, including a match for the Women's Intercontinental Championship where Becky Lynch retained her title against WWE Hall of Famer, Nikki Bella.
Nikki Bella took control at the beginning. The WWE Hall of Famer responded to Becky Lynch's first attack with a series of punches, forcing the champion to go to ringside. Bella pursued her and punished her against the metal stairs and the audience barrier, showing great aggressiveness from the start.
Lynch recovered and countered with a diving legdrop, starting an intense exchange of blows. The Irishwoman punished her opponent with a suplex and a headlock. However, Nikki stopped her momentum with a flurry of clotheslines and sent her back to ringside, where she continued her attack repeatedly hitting the champion's head on the announcers' table.
In the final moments, both wrestlers gave it their all in the ring. After a series of superplexes and reversals of their signature moves, the action returned to the outside, where Nikki used the metal stairs to execute a faceplant on her rival. Back in the ring, Nikki even applied her own version of the Manhandle Slam, but it wasn't enough to secure the victory. Becky Lynch quickly recovered and surprised her opponent with a decisive roll-up for the three-count.
