This evening a new episode of Monday Night Raw has been held at La Défense Arena in Paris, France. The show, which closed the recent European tour, featured several matches and segments of interest, highlighting the appearance of CM Punk, who called out Seth Rollins after the events of Clash in Paris.
As the show progressed, WWE showed us CM Punk backstage trying to find out Seth Rollins' whereabouts. In a backstage encounter with Adam Pearce, the Raw General Manager assured that The Vision leader was in the building, although he didn't know the exact location.
Before the main event, CM Punk made an appearance in front of the audience and received a great ovation. Punk expressed his tiredness of Rollins' games and stated he was tired of waiting for him today, so he would wait in the ring until Rollins showed up to address the issue man to man. Seth Rollins' theme music played, but instead of Rollins, Becky Lynch appeared.
The Man entered the ring ready to confront CM Punk. However, the audience began chanting AJ Lee's name loudly, something that didn't sit well with Lynch, who pointed out that WWE fans have the habit of cheering for someone who doesn't work for the company. It happened a second time, but CM Punk reminded Becky Lynch that it doesn't matter if he works in WWE or not, because the audience mentions his name anyway.
CM Punk grew tired of Becky Lynch's words and reminded her that Rollins is someone who hides behind others: Paul Heyman, Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, and even his wife. Punk urged Lynch to be more than that and insisted on seeing Rollins to remind him that he is a paper champion.
Finally, Seth Rollins made an appearance on the stage and challenged CM Punk to come after him. Becky Lynch stood in his way, although CM Punk eventually crossed her, but Seth Rollins decided to leave the place. Becky Lynch slapped Punk several times and tried to humiliate him, but Punk refused to hit her. Punk assured he would catch her husband and she would regret touching him. Punk left and Lynch confronted him, but she couldn't get him to return to the ring.
After the incident, Adam Pearce met CM Punk backstage again, who asked him about Rollins. The General Manager informed him that Rollins had already left the building. It was then when CM Punk hinted at his appearance in the next episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
