Seth Rollins took his rivalry with CM Punk to a new level when his wife, Becky Lynch, was introduced into the story. "The Man" not only helped her husband retain the World Heavyweight Championship at WWE Clash in Paris, but also slapped, insulted, and humiliated "The Best in the World" in the following episode of Raw, which would be the perfect excuse for the return of AJ Lee to the company.

However, the segment also upset some fans, who felt uncomfortable with a scene that, unfortunately, many people experience in their family life. Kevin Nash, WWE legend, has been very critical of Lynch and the segment in general in the most recent edition of Kliq This Podcast.

"I made a comment about Becky Lynch and I see people telling me to shut the f*ck up. But here's the thing: when Becky became popular, it was because Nia Jax broke her face. It was that visual image - a red-haired, pretty, small, defiant girl, not selling the hit. That was the moment her character was born. She took that and ran with it, and she became super popular," Nash began explaining.

"But in my opinion, she's not the same as she was back then. Once she had a child, she lost some of that edge, some of that hunger. That happens, it's life. And the problem with wrestling is that if you try to force something on the audience, they will reject it," Nash continued.

"When she got violent with Phil, with the slaps, it was like watching Deborah Winger and West Hightower in Urban Cowboy. It looked like domestic violence, and that's not the kind of negative reaction you want. The company censors phrases like 'eat a fat d*ck', but apparently showing domestic violence is okay. That doesn't sit right with me."

"And then they give Becky a line on Raw to say 'sweaty ball sack'. I saw it coming, it felt so forced. Like George C. Scott in Patton: 'you son of a b*tch, I read your book'. I knew exactly what was going to happen. And it's the same kind of cheap negative reaction as always, like when someone says: 'the only bigger losers than you are the Philadelphia Eagles tonight'. Come on, man. Is that really the level we've sunk to?"
