WWE has announced that this Friday they will make a "special announcement" that many already interpret as the official confirmation that WrestleMania 43 will be held in Saudi Arabia.
The company teased it on their YouTube channel and Triple H reinforced it on X with a message full of ambition: "I told you we were going to change the game. And this is just the beginning." The announcement will take place at 9:00 PM in Spain (3:00 PM ET | 12:00 PM PT) and will feature top names like The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Seth Rollins, Logan Paul, Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Stephanie Vaquer, and Charlotte Flair.
Although SmackDown will be held in Norfolk, Virginia, the presentation is scheduled in Las Vegas, coinciding with WWE x AAA Worlds Collide.
The choice of Las Vegas is not random: this weekend TKO is also organizing the boxing match between Canelo Álvarez and Terence Crawford, sponsored by Riyadh Season, highlighting the strategic alliance with Saudi Arabia.
On Wednesday it was revealed that the WrestleMania 2027 edition will be held in the Gulf country as part of the celebrations for its 300th anniversary. The deal would be around $100 million and would include the entire weekend of shows, with Raw and SmackDown included.
