Stephanie Vaquer has addressed the rumors about her health status following the cancellation of her contract signing segment with IYO SKY on the September 8 episode of WWE Raw on Netflix. Many fans speculated about a possible injury, and even some specialized American media outlets claimed she was dealing with a minor injury, but the Chilean wrestler has categorically denied it.
In an interview with Adrian Hernandez, Vaquer clarified the situation: "I didn't see social media. Sometimes many things are not real. There are no injuries. I am ready for Raw next Monday," she stated firmly, confirming that her preparation for WrestlePalooza continues without setbacks.
Vaquer's words come after Dave Meltzer stated on Wrestling Observer Radio that the wrestler was dealing with a "minor injury" that had led to her absence on Raw. According to Meltzer, WWE informed him that it was "nothing to worry about" and that Vaquer would be available to compete in upcoming events.
With this denial, the Chilean makes it clear that she is in optimal condition and that her match against IYO SKY for the WWE Women's World Championship at WrestlePalooza remains on the card. According to Vaquer, she will be present next Monday on Monday Night Raw.
Despite Vaquer's denial, the oddity of her situation is that she has not wrestled since July and has been away from the ring for almost 6 weeks.
