Charlotte Flair was one of the wrestlers who appeared at the presentation of WrestleMania 43, and later spoke on the Nightcap podcast about her future in WWE, making it clear that, although she wants to be a mother someday, that does not mean she plans to retire from wrestling.
The Queen confessed that she has not set a retirement date. "I want to have children someday. I can do both, but it depends on the timing. Right now I have NXT Homecoming, WrestlePalooza, Royal Rumble, WrestleMania... The shows keep coming. It's what happens in the next five years," she commented.
When asked if she would return to wrestling after starting a family, Flair was firm: "Wrestling is in my blood. I don't know anything else, I love it. Yes, I want to be a mother, but I don't think that door will ever close. Trish Stratus came back, she's 50 years old, looks better than half the roster, and is shining. That inspires me. So I don't think I'll ever say goodbye forever, just that I'll step away for a while when the time comes to have children."
Charlotte Flair, who remains a key player in the WWE women's division, is going through a busy schedule of major events. Her statements also come amid a personal moment marked by the departure of her ex-husband, Andrade, from the company, adding more interest to her future inside and outside the ring.
Despite confirming her presence at NXT Homecoming, Charlotte Flair has not been scheduled for this Tuesday's show. However, the fact that many main roster stars are appearing on the show suggests that The Queen will indeed make an appearance.
