The Hurt Syndicate, the faction composed of MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin, has dominated the tag team division since their debut in All Elite Wrestling. 2025 has undoubtedly been a great year for them, winning the company's World Tag Team Championships and remaining relevant in the television programming. And it seems that this prominence will continue with the expansion of the stable, as reported by the specialized media outlet Fightful.

"Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful Select has reported that there have been discussions about adding new young members to the group. Naturally, there has been speculation on the internet about Cedric Alexander, but we have not heard that he will be incorporated at the moment. He has been working recently in TNA, but we have not been able to confirm that he has signed a contract. We have also heard that potential new additions could be made," the media outlet wrote.

It is worth noting that Alexander was part of The Hurt Business in WWE, so his addition to the new faction led by MVP would mean a complete reunion of that team. An idea that many hope to see realized to bring back one of the most beloved stables from the WWE pandemic era.

On the other hand, there has been much talk about the discomfort that MVP would have caused backstage, where he would have even refused to lose against certain teams, especially JetSpeed. However, it seems that the wrestler and AEW have resolved these issues, as MVP will continue to be part of the company.

"Earlier this year, some unusual reports circulated indicating that MVP was about to leave the company, but we have not heard anything about it. All members have multi-year contracts with the company and seem to be doing well there," Fightful wrote about it.

The Hurt Syndicate will be part of AEW All Out, the PPV that the company will hold in Toronto next weekend. MVP, Lashley, and Benjamin will face Ricochet and Gates of Agony (Toa Liona and Bishop Kaun) in a trios match, continuing a rivalry that has been heating up for several weeks.
