Andrade and MJF have been involved in a curious fight on social media in the last few hours. It all started after the news of Andrade's departure from WWE was leaked. At that moment, MJF went to his X account to mock the Mexican, while promoting his upcoming matches against Místico and Mark Briscoe.
"Hey, you, Andrade El Ídolo. I'll be in Mexico giving a brutal beating to Místico in front of all your compatriots starving for attention. Let me know if you want to have a margarita before I board my jet to Toronto to beat up the hick Mark Briscoe," wrote MJF.
Andrade responded with the middle finger emoji and a simple "CABRO...", waiting for his moment to seek revenge. And he did so by challenging MJF to a "mask vs. hair" match in Mexico. "IN MEXICO! MASK VS. HAIR, coward MJF!", wrote Andrade.
It is worth mentioning that the talent from All Elite Wrestling refused to accept this stipulation when Místico challenged him for the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship. It is unknown if Andrade intended for MJF to accept Místico's challenge or if, on the contrary, it was a direct challenge from "El Ídolo."
"Lol. No. Get over it without burning another bridge and then we can talk about having a fight. Coward," MJF responded flatly rejecting facing Andrade in his home country. "Okay! See you soon. Be careful in Mexico", replied "El Ídolo."
Far from ending this "discussion," MJF wanted to deliver the final blow with a double poisoned dart, mocking Andrade both professionally (mentioning his backstage fight with Sammy Guevara) and personally, with his failed marriage to Charlotte Flair.
"A) I love Sammy (no, I don't love him) but I'm not him. Prove me wrong, you bastard. B) I'll erase you from the face of this earth faster than Charlotte erased you from your home, buddy," wrote the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Champion.
"Got it! A) You're more dangerous! B) I left home! Good luck in your marriage, I hope no one cries when they beat you up, you know about me, I don't know about you," Andrade replied.
At the moment, it is unknown if there is any reason behind this exchange of words. Considering MJF's character, it could simply be another provocation from the wrestler. However, with Andrade out of WWE, many might think that the Mexican could be close to returning to AEW. With the doors of the company still open for El Ídolo, his feud with MJF on social media opens the possibility of a return to what was once his home.
