Raja Jackson, son of mixed martial arts legend Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, has been arrested and faces a serious felony charge following an incident that occurred on August 23 at an independent KnokX show in California. As reported by TMZ, Jackson was taken into custody on Thursday morning and remains under arrest with bail set at $50,000.
According to the report, Jackson took an angle in the ring against wrestler Syko Stu too far at a Knokx Pro Wrestling event held in late August in California. After slamming him hard, he continued to strike him even after Stu was unconscious. Stu had to be hospitalized for several days, although he is currently recovering at home.
The severity of the case has mobilized the community. Stu's wife started a GoFundMe campaign to cover medical expenses and loss of income, already surpassing $220,000 in donations. Figures like influencer Mr. Beast and AEW wrestler Chris Jericho have made significant contributions.
Following the incident, KnokX issued a statement condemning Jackson's actions as "an irresponsible act of violence" and announced that they had been stripped of their WWE ID affiliation as a result of the scandal.
Syko Stu has already been discharged from the hospital and continues his recovery after suffering severe injuries: trauma to the upper and lower jaw, laceration on the upper lip, and fractured maxillary bone.
The incident sparked a heated debate in the professional wrestling community, with some familiar faces trying to explain Raja Jackson's reaction, such as Rob Van Dam or Mark Henry, while others accused the young man of being a covert murderer.
