This will be the first show of the red brand after WWE Wrestlepalooza and will feature several matches and segments of interest, including a special appearance by Cody Rhodes and the first appearance of Stephanie Vaquer as the new Women's World Champion. As always, we invite you to comment on the article to give your opinion on what happened on the show.
WWE Raw begins on Netflix!
We see a video summary of WWE Wrestlepalooza.
We see the arrival of some of the protagonists of tonight: The Vision in full, Stephanie Vaquer (accompanied by her father), The New Day and Grayson Waller (ready for their no disqualification match tonight), Bayley and LA Knight (who witnesses Rusev harassing Dominik Mysterio backstage).
Cody Rhodes is in charge of opening tonight's show. The fans greet him with a great ovation. "The American Nightmare" greets the fans in the front rows as he heads to the ring. "Cody, Cody!" chants the audience. "Well, Evansville, Indiana, what do you want to talk about?" Rhodes asks them. He shows a ring he wears on his finger. "This is the inaugural Crown Jewel Champion ring. And as much as I love it, I have nine other fingers, and I'd love to use one more", says Cody before announcing that he will be present in Perth, where he will try to win his second ring when he faces the World Heavyweight Champion...
BURN IT DOWN!
Seth Rollins heads to the ring followed by Paul Heyman, Bronson Reed, and Bron Breakker. "The Visionary" asks his companions to stay on the entrance ramp while he heads to the ring. Rollins tries to speak, but the fans prevent him with boos and chants in favor of Cody. Seth points out that he has been thinking about Crown Jewel since they both emerged victorious at SummerSlam. After everything they have been through, they will finally have the opportunity to face each other as champions and in the best shape. Now he would like to say "may the best man win," but it's not that simple, as everyone knows there is a lot of history between them.
Rollins knows what everyone thinks of him, but he doesn't care. Seth knows what's best for the fans. That's why he must be the one to make the decisions. "!CM Punk, CM Punk!" chants the audience. Rollins reminds them that "The Best in the World" is not a champion, so he has no voice in this conversation. That said, he asks Cody what he thinks of him.
Rhodes acknowledges that it's a complicated question... although it shouldn't be. Cody believes that Seth has made questionable decisions lately (like his association with Paul Heyman), but it's also true that "The Visionary" changed his life. It changed it when he agreed to face him in his return to WWE at WrestleMania 38. It changed it when they faced each other in Hell in a Cell, because without that pectoral injury, he would never have known what he was capable of. And it changed at WrestleMania XL when he became his shield to help him finish his story and bring the WWE Championship to his family for the first time. However, the real question is what Seth thinks of himself. Because on his best night, Rollins could be not only one of the best in the business, but the best of all. And that's not the Seth he's seeing now. "That Seth Rollins I'm talking about wouldn't hide behind those three lackeys over there," says Rhodes. Breakker, Reed, and Heyman laugh. Cody shows his ring again, pointing out that one more will be at stake at Crown Jewel. "What can I do for you now, Seth?" he asks.
"Before talking about that ring, we have to talk about this watch," Rollins replies, showing the watch he wears on his hand. Seth points out that it's the same one Cody gave him at WrestleMania XL. A gift he had never used until tonight. Now he needs to know if that was a real gift. Was it a real gift or just a symbolic gesture? Because Cody is very good at praising Rollins when it suits him, but then underestimates everything "The Visionary" has done. And he does it in his promos and interviews claiming he is the quarterback of WWE, the right person to lead this industry into the future. If Cody claims he is the quarterback of WWE, that means he either considers Seth not good enough, or not as good as Rhodes. "The Vision is not just a group of people. The Vision is an idea of how the future of this industry should be. It's about how the future of this industry should be and it goes through me. I, I, I! I am the tip of that spear. Not you. So you can be the quarterback, Cody, but you'll be MY quarterback", says Seth. "If you don't agree, it doesn't matter, because in three weeks, at Crown Jewel, the truth will come to light. Either way, you'll know that I am The Creator, the main engine, Cody. This is not a two-man show. I am the Alpha".
Rhodes has two questions for Seth. "In the three matches we've had, it's always been one-on-one. Will it be the same at Crown Jewel? And more importantly, in the three matches we've had, Seth Rollins, how many have you won?", Cody asks before handing him the microphone. Rhodes steps down from the ring, ready to return backstage, but Bron and Bronson block his way. Rollins turns in their direction and gestures to his companions to allow the Undisputed WWE Champion to pass. He continues his path without losing sight of the faction. Once at the top of the entrance ramp, Cody stops to raise his championship. Thus, the segment comes to an end.
Jimmy Uso meets his brother Jey backstage. Jimmy believes that the defeat they suffered against The Vision at Wrestlepalooza shouldn't have happened. That's why he went to talk to Adam Pearce to grant them a rematch for tonight. However, the General Manager has informed him that Jey had already requested a match against LA Knight. Jey confirms that this is true, blaming "The Megastar" for his defeat at PLE. In addition, he also believes that The Vision should have taken care of LA Knight last week. Jimmy wonders if Jey is also blaming him. "No. No. No. Look, I'm just saying we have a lot on our plate. We'll take care of all that as soon as I take care of LA Knight. YEET", says Jey. Both brothers look at each other in silence. Jey leaves the place to end the segment.
The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) and Grayson Waller make their entrance. Waller takes a microphone to order the fans to be silent, not only for the reign of Woods and Kingston, but also for what will happen to their opponents tonight. Xavier recalls that Penta had the audacity to use his Mexican Destroyer last week. A move that should be banned. That's why tonight they will have the opportunity to take revenge on their enemies by their own hands. And that's why the audience should thank them. As usual, Woods ends the promo by ordering the fans to get on their knees, raise their arms to the sky, and shout: "!God, thank you for The New Day!"
No Disqualification Tag Team Match: Penta and The War Raiders (Ivar and Erik) vs. The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) and Grayson Waller
Penta and The War Raiders burst into the ring to start a fight with their opponents, who are quickly expelled from the ring. The first ones try to throw themselves at their enemies, but they move away to avoid it. Kofi, Xavier, and Waller grab their opponents by the legs to get them out of the ring... except Woods, who can't move Ivar. He takes him inside the ring to attack him.
One by one, the rest of the competitors enter the ring to exchange attacks. Waller appears with a kendo stick to attack Ivar and Erik, but Penta snatches it. The action quickly moves to ringside, where Penta and The War Raiders combine to attack their rivals. While the Mexican launches a tope con hilo on Kofi and Xavier (using Erik's back as a trampoline), Ivar crushes Waller against the ring screen with a crossbody.
"Tables, tables!" chant the fans. Penta, Ivar, and Erik please them by taking out two tables from under the ring. One of them is placed ringside while the second is supported in one of the corners inside the ring. However, the heels take advantage of the moment to attack them. Woods, Kingston, and Waller put on three gigantic mourning hats to unleash an attack on their rivals with kendo sticks. After that, they mockingly imitate Ric Flair's walk. Penta and The War Raiders surprise them from behind. Now they put on the hats to walk "like Penta", but they are also surprised from behind by their rivals, who regain control.
Waller, Kingston, and Woods kick Penta. He manages to recover and fights them off. Penta gets on the apron and tries to kick Xavier from there, but Xavier grabs his leg and makes him fall. Woods places the Mexican on the table set up next to the ring. Kofi climbs to the top turnbuckle and launches himself with a double legdrop. The table is shattered. Woods brings the Mexican back into the ring, where Grayson covers him. 1...2...NO. Erik breaks the count.
The action continues. Erik delivers a double powerbomb on Kofi and Xavier. Ivar launches himself onto both with a moonsault, but his opponents dodge. Ivar crashes chest-first onto the mat. Xavier traps Ivar in the ropes so Kingston can execute a senton directly onto his back. Grayson tries to finish him off, but Ivar counters with a sit-out powerbomb on the apron. Xavier hits Ivar with a kendo stick. Erik gets revenge on Woods with a chokeslam, only to take a frog splash from Kofi to the back.
Kingston returns to the ring to charge at Penta, but is caught with a belly-to-belly suplex. Kofi crashes through the table leaning in the corner, completely breaking it. The Mexican climbs to the top turnbuckle, ready to finish off the Ghanaian, but Grayson stops him. The two men struggle until Penta catches the Australian and hits a chilling Mexican Destroyer from the second rope. 1...2...3.
Winners: The War Raiders and Penta
A worried Dominik Mysterio arrives at The Judgment Day’s clubhouse, where all his teammates are gathered. Dominik approaches Finn Bálor to ask for help with his problem with Rusev. The Russian is coming for his Intercontinental Championship, and it’s time for the faction to stick together for the common good. However, the Irishman suggests he go to his new friend, El Grande Americano. Mysterio points out that the masked man is in Mexico. Bálor shrugs it off—he's busy now. With that, Finn starts playing on a handheld console. Dom then calls out to JD McDonagh, but he also refuses to help. Plus, Mysterio said he didn’t need anyone’s help. Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez step in, asking JD to support their teammate for the good of the faction. JD agrees, but only for The Judgment Day. With that, he prepares to go to Adam Pearce’s office, but Dom tells him it’s not necessary—he already talked to him. Tonight, McDonagh will face Rusev one-on-one. A disbelieving JD looks at his teammates. However, they have to leave—Perez has a match coming up. Mysterio wishes them luck as JD approaches Finn to tell him what just happened.
Backstage, we see Lyra Valkyria. Bayley approaches her. The Irishwoman quickly apologizes for what happened last week, saying she shouldn’t have entered her locker room unannounced. However, Bayley only remembers Lyra’s victory over Roxanne Perez and how good it felt to be welcomed back by the fans. Bayley says it was great to see her again and asks if she would be in her corner tonight. Valkyria is still confused. "Are you messing with me? You yelled at me and called me an idiot," says the Irishwoman. Bayley thinks Lyra is joking and asks again for her support, saying Raquel Rodriguez will be ringside and will surely try to interfere. "So... you're not mad at me? Wait, even if you were, weren’t we supposed to keep our distance? If this really means something to you, and being there tonight helps you be the best version of yourself...", Lyra begins to say before being cut off by "The Role Model", who insists she wants her there. Lyra agrees. Happy, Bayley plays with Lyra’s hands. "See you out there!" she exclaims before walking off. Valkyria remains confused. Stephanie Vaquer walks past her on her way to the ring.
Byron Saxton interviews Paul Heyman in the audience section. Saxton asks Heyman about his alliance with Brock Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza and whether it will have future implications. Paul criticizes Byron for being a journalist who doesn’t ask fact-based questions, instead posing biased ones. That's why he’ll give the question the answer it deserves. “Yes, at Crown Jewel, Seth Rollins will defeat Cody Rhodes for the Crown Jewel Championship,” he says. Paul claims this match is very personal for Seth, adding that Rhodes is nothing more than a "pseudo-champion" who wishes he had the title of a real champion like “The Visionary.” Heyman reminds everyone he’s an expert in ending streaks, and at Crown Jewel, Cody’s streak will end. "Your winner at Crown Jewel, ending Cody Rhodes’ 3-0 streak, will be Seth Rollins. And that’s not a spoiler or a prediction. That’s a prophecy," Heyman concludes.
We move to the ring, where Adam Pearce welcomes Stephanie Vaquer. The Chilean makes her entrance. “You deserve it!” chant the fans. Adam congratulates her on her Wrestlepalooza victory before handing her the mic. Stephanie says she’s living her dream. She fought hard to win the championship now around her waist—and she did it by defeating one of the best wrestlers in the world. "The Dark Angel" says she achieved this through hard work and perseverance—values she learned from her father, who thanks her from the crowd. Stephanie states that the world championship is the result of all the support she’s received from the fans along the way—and for that, she’s grateful. Vaquer promises to keep making history—and that no one will stop her.
Pearce reminds everyone that this Friday, the WWE Women’s Championship will be on the line in a triple threat on SmackDown. The winner of that match will face Stephanie in Perth for the Crown Jewel Women’s Championship. “I’ll be there,” says Vaquer. Fireworks light up the arena as the Chilean celebrates with the fans.
Nikki Bella and Rhea Ripley congratulate Stephanie Vaquer backstage. Rhea reminds Stephanie that she still has her eyes on that championship. “Mami, I’m ready,” replies the champion. Asuka and Kairi Sane appear, with Asuka stating that Vaquer doesn’t deserve the title. “IYO should be champion. You don’t deserve to be champion,” says "The Empress of Tomorrow." “Actually, she does deserve it—and she’s going to be an amazing champion,” says Bella. “Anytime you want, I’ll gladly show you why I’m champion,” Stephanie replies to Asuka before walking off with Nikki and Rhea.
Asuka mocks them in Japanese. Fed up, Ripley returns to confront "The Empress of Tomorrow." The Australian says she’s put up with a lot out of respect for IYO SKY, but she won’t tolerate Asuka’s attitude anymore. Asuka, for her part, insists that no one—not even “Mami”—is ready for her. Rhea says it’s time to settle this in the ring—tonight! Asuka accepts the challenge and walks away. Kairi approaches the Australian and takes her hand. “Rhea, I’m sor—” she begins, but is interrupted. “KAIRIIIIII!” shouts Asuka from behind. Startled, Sane has no choice but to follow her partner.
Bayley (with Lyra Valkyria) vs. Roxanne Perez (with Raquel Rodriguez)
Bayley traps her opponent in a headlock. Perez carries Bayley to a corner to break the hold and unloads with a flurry of punches. Bayley quickly recovers and knocks her down, landing two consecutive elbow drops. Roxy escapes to ringside, running into Lyra, whom she shoves aside. Bayley follows her opponent but stops to check if the Irishwoman is okay.
Bayley tries to kick Perez while leaping off the post, but the Texan blocks and counters. Roxanne throws her into the barricade before returning her to the ring. However, once inside, "The Role Model" regains control with a side suplex. Bayley follows with several corner spears. Raquel distracts Bayley, allowing Roxanne to knock her off the turnbuckle.
Bayley gets caught hanging upside down, and Roxanne capitalizes with relentless strikes. As a result, Bayley injures her left leg. Perez targets the leg using the ropes. Referee Jessika Carr tells Roxanne to back off, giving Raquel the chance to slap Bayley. Lyra steps in to confront Raquel about her actions.
Roxanne continues attacking Bayley’s injured leg. She tries to fight back, but only ends up being thrown into the ropes by her opponent. Perez goes for a springboard moonsault, but Bayley meets her knees first. Bayley then hits Roxy with a neckbreaker near the ropes before following up with a legdrop. Bayley continues the assault, landing a diving elbow drop on Perez. 1...2...NO.
The action moves to the top turnbuckle. Roxanne takes Bayley down with a hurricanrana before executing a Satomura Special. 1...2...NO. Bayley blocks a Pop Rox to counter with a right hand. Bayley looks for height, but Perez follows her to execute a Russian Leg Sweep from the second rope.
The action spills to ringside, where Perez manages to hit a Pop Rox. Roxanne returns to the ring. Carr starts the ten-count. 1...2...3...4...5...6...7... Bayley is still unmoved on the mat. 8...9... Bayley summons what strength she has to return just in time. Furious, Roxanne grabs Carr’s hand to turn her toward her. The two argue, giving Raquel the chance to pull Bayley out of the ring and hit a big boot.
Tired of the situation, Lyra launches herself at Rodriguez. She stops the Irishwoman’s offense, trying to throw her into one of the ring posts. However, Valkyria escapes just in time so that Rodriguez impacts the metal. At that moment, Perez launches herself at Lyra with a suicide dive. Bayley becomes enraged, grabbing Roxy by the hair to drag her back into the ring. "The Role Model" hits her with a Bayley-to-Belly before finishing with a Rose Plant. 1...2...3.
Winner: Bayley
An emotional Valkyria enters the ring to celebrate with "The Role Model", whom she quickly hugs, but the champion’s attitude has changed. Bayley pushes the Irishwoman, who lands on her butt on the mat. "Do you think you can touch me with your stupid dress? Do you think you can touch me? Do you know who I am?", Bayley screams before clutching her head. "Stay there!" she exclaims before leaving the ring. "The Role Model" continues berating a surprised Lyra as she makes her way back backstage.
Cody Rhodes encounters Jimmy Uso backstage. Both greet each other amicably. Jimmy congratulates Cody on his recent title defense. Rhodes thanks him before asking about his brother. Jimmy admits Jey doesn’t seem like himself. He doesn’t want to talk about it, but maybe he'll listen to Cody. "Yes, I will talk to Jey," says "The American Nightmare" before leaving in search of the former world champion. Jimmy thanks him for that.
We return from a commercial break to see Jey Uso in the locker room. Cody Rhodes approaches him. Jey receives him with a hug. Rhodes takes a seat to ask the Samoan if he’s okay. Cody says he knows what he’s going through, since he’s also failed in the past, but reminds him that he has family and the fans, and he can always count on them. Meanwhile, Jey watches the WWE Undisputed Championship with great interest. "We all believe in you," says Rhodes. "Thanks for your words, man. But don’t worry. I’ll find a way back to the top, Cody", Jey responds as he shakes his friend’s hand. Cody picks up his title and says goodbye to the Samoan, who watches the champion leave. And that brings this segment to an end.
JD McDonagh (with Dominik Mysterio) vs. Rusev
Rusev heads straight for Dominik, stating that once he’s dealt with JD, he’ll go after the Intercontinental Championship. Rusev unleashes a barrage of attacks on McDonagh. He tries to respond, but the Bulgarian overpowers him. Rusev hits two consecutive suplexes before dragging his opponent toward the ropes, continuing his assault there. JD blocks another suplex to strike back at the Bulgarian. Enraged, Rusev sends the Irishman to ringside.
Rusev follows him to keep attacking. McDonagh uses the steel stairs to strike Rusev, then throws him into one of the posts. JD finishes him off with an Asai Moonsault. Both men return to the ring. McDonagh surprises the Bulgarian with a chop block to his left leg. JD repeats the move. McDonagh targets his opponent’s injured leg, drawing a cry of pain.
Rusev counters with a gutwrench suplex to regain control. The Bulgarian repeatedly kicks the back of McDonagh before trapping him in a headlock. Rusev takes JD to the top turnbuckle. The Irishman escapes his opponent to take him down in the ropes. McDonagh surprises Rusev with a knee strike.
Rusev tries to respond, but JD catches him with a DDT. McDonagh follows up with a headbutt before finishing with a moonsault. 1...2...NO. JD throws several punches at Rusev, attempting to knock him down with several clotheslines. Rusev remains unmoved until he slams the Irishman. Rusev lands a Machka Kick before locking in the Accolade. Dominik climbs up to the apron, feinting to help his partner, but in the end he doesn’t dare. JD submits.
Winner by submission: Rusev
Finn Bálor appears on stage to rescue McDonagh. Bálor frees JD by hitting Rusev with an inverted DDT. Bálor scolds Dominik for his inaction before sending the Bulgarian out of the ring with a clothesline. Finn tries to check on McDonagh’s condition, but Mysterio pulls him out of the ring. "What’s wrong with you?" Bálor asks Dominik. Hurt, JD tries to calm his teammates down. The three retreat backstage while Rusev watches them from the ring.
IYO SKY approaches Asuka to ask her not to face Rhea Ripley. Asuka replies that the match will happen. "I have to teach Rhea respect. And I won’t take advice from someone who loses," says "The Empress of Tomorrow" before walking away. IYO pleads with Kairi Sane to speak with her partner. "Asuka is the reason we are here. We have to listen to her," says Kairi as she takes SKY’s hand. “KAIRIIIII!!!”, Asuka screams. Once again, Sane is startled and must heed her call. And that brings us to the end of this segment.

But the distraction costs him. As he reenters, Jey surprises him with a spear. The Samoan climbs to the top turnbuckle and finishes the match with an Uso Splash. 1..2..3.
Winner: Jey Uso
Jey heads backstage, leaving LA Knight at the mercy of Bron and Bronson. Jimmy Uso appears on the entrance ramp. He tries to convince his brother to help "The Megastar", but Jey ignores him and walks away. Jimmy grabs a steel chair and runs to the ring, challenging Breakker and Reed to step up. Bron seems ready, but Paul Heyman grabs his hand. "No. No. No. No. No...", repeats "The Oracle" until Bron backs off. The Vision retreats up the ramp while Jimmy checks on LA Knight.
We go to the private locker room of Seth Rollins, who stares at the watch Cody Rhodes gave him, lost in thought. Behind him, Becky Lynch paces back and forth, lashing out. She blames Cody for trying to confuse her husband, and The Usos for disrespecting The Vision. Becky brings up Rhodes again, who had no problem mentioning her name. Lynch reminds everyone she’s the greatest female wrestler of all time. And it’s not just her saying it — Sports Illustrated, Bleacher Report, and many others agree. Meanwhile, fans continue to disrespect her. "Those people aren’t fans. They’re thieves trying to steal everything we’ve done, everything we’ve built. And if we let them, they’ll succeed", says "The Man", comparing them to returning stars like CM Punk and AJ Lee. "You know what I’m going to do? I’m going to set an example. Yes. That’s exactly what I’m going to do", she says while picking up her Intercontinental Women’s Championship. The Irishwoman leaves. Rollins remains silent.
IYO SKY approaches Rhea Ripley backstage. Surprised, the Australian asks if she won’t get in trouble for being there. SKY says this is more important. "Rhea, I need you to cancel the match," says the Japanese star. "Mami" apologizes but says she can’t — Asuka has disrespected her for too long. "Listen, look at it this way: maybe Asuka and I can punch the respect out of each other", Rhea replies. IYO accepts the decision. Before she leaves, Rhea grabs her arm and tells her to be careful with Asuka. "Wait. What do you mean? Asuka is family," says SKY. Rhea understands, but she also knows betrayals hurt more when they come from family. "You know I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for Asuka. I can trust her. Can I trust you?" asks a frustrated IYO before walking away. "IYO, that’s not what I meant," says Rhea as the segment ends.
Byron Saxton interviews The War Raiders and Penta in the stands. Erik and Ivar say The New Day could’ve chosen peace, but they chose war. And when it comes to war, The War Raiders show no mercy. Now that their rivals are dealt with, it’s time to look forward — specifically, to the tag team gold, because Raw is War. Erik says Penta is "their madman", and he’s honored to have fought alongside him. The masked man agrees. Not only is he crazy — he’s the most dangerous man in WWE. Now, he wants to take out Dominik Mysterio and claim the Intercontinental Championship. "Dominik Mysterio. This message is for you. Look me in the eyes. I’m going to teach you to respect wrestling and all people, cabrón! I’ll tell you something: I’m going to make you my son! Dominik Mysterio, get ready, because I’m going to corner you! I don’t care where you are, because I’m Penta El Cero Miedo!" shouts the Mexican to end the interview.
We see a video featuring El Grande Americano and his mysterious allies: Los Americanos, legends who returned to action when everyone thought they were relics of the past.
Adam Pearce is in his office with Maxxine Dupri. Dupri says she’s been training hard and asks for a chance. Pearce acknowledges her effort and believes in her, but Raw’s women’s division is more competitive than ever. He asks her to be patient while he finds the right opportunity. Maxxine thanks him and leaves. AJ Styles and Dragon Lee enter. Styles says he’s tired of Los Americanos. Lee adds that they’re trash and a disgrace to wrestlers. He wants two of them in the ring next week. Adam asks who they want to face. AJ and Dragon don’t care. Pearce agrees to talk to them and make it official. Styles advises him not to hire any more "Americanos". With that, they leave to end the segment.

Despite her doubts, she finally strikes — but Ripley blocks it. Asuka charges in with a hip attack, but Rhea dodges, and Kairi takes the hit, falling to ringside. Rhea rolls up Asuka. 1..2..3.
Winner: Rhea Ripley
The Australian has no time to celebrate, as Asuka spits Green Mist into her face. "The Empress of Tomorrow" commands Sane to attack her. Kairi doesn’t want to, but eventually obeys. She hits Rhea repeatedly. Asuka joins in. Suddenly...
IYO SKY storms the ring!
SKY rushes in to stand between her countrywomen and Rhea. IYO begs Asuka to stop the attack. Asuka appears moved and regretful. "The Empress of Tomorrow" hugs SKY. Kairi seems relieved that it’s over... or maybe not. Asuka shocks IYO with a backfist! She then orders Sane to attack her fellow countrywoman. Once again, Kairi must do something she doesn't want to. With tears in her eyes, Sane strikes IYO over and over. Asuka tells her to hold IYO in place for a Roundhouse Kick. Then she signals for the next move. Kairi climbs to the top rope. Still blinded, Rhea tries to get up, only to be taken down by a spinning heel kick from Asuka. With Ripley dealt with, Asuka holds SKY down for Sane’s final blow. Kairi, crying atop the turnbuckle, delivers an Insane Elbow straight to a defenseless IYO. Kairi drops to her knees, devastated by what she just did. Asuka embraces her, proud of the message they just sent. The crowd boos them. And with that, the episode comes to a close.
