Furious after his defeat at Wrestlepalooza, Jey Uso returned to WWE Raw with erratic behavior. During the show, the Samoan wrestler faced off against LA Knight, whom he blamed for his weekend loss. However, Jey's attitude seemed strange as he first confronted his brother and later, during their match, took advantage of interference from Seth Rollins' faction to secure the victory.
The match unfolded with Jey attacking LA Knight even before the bell rang. "The Megastar" tried to fight back, but the furious Samoan overpowered and ruthlessly punished him. The action quickly moved to ringside, where Jey attempted to strike his opponent with the announcers' table. However, Knight prevented it, turning the offense around by throwing Jey into the barricade before both returned to the ring.
Both wrestlers remained neck and neck, Jey blocked a neckbreaker to send LA Knight to ringside and followed up with a suicide dive. Victory seemed imminent, but Knight surprised him by dodging a spear to hit a DDT and a diving elbow drop. Just as LA Knight was about to deliver his finishing move, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed entered the scene, distracting him and allowing Jey to finish him off with a spear and an Uso Splash for the win.
The end of the match left LA Knight vulnerable in the ring. Jey walked back to backstage, leaving Bron and Bronson to surround his rival. Jimmy Uso rushed to convince his brother to help, but Jey ignored him and continued on his way. Jimmy grabbed a chair to defend Knight, but Paul Heyman appeared to calm Bron and Bronson, persuading them to retreat.
