The John Cena tour is coming to an end and there aren't many opponents we can count on for his last match, at least of great caliber or available. In recent days, some ideas have been considered, but none of them have been convincing.

However, John Cena is here to give us some more. The seventeen-time world champion has once again sparked speculation about his immediate future in the ring. Shortly before the start of Monday Night Raw, Cena directly asked the fans what they would think about reviving his rivalry with AJ Styles, a saga that made history in 2016 and 2017 with memorable matches at Money in the Bank and SummerSlam.

The veteran was last seen at WrestlePalooza, where he was swiftly defeated by Brock Lesnar. Throughout this year, Cena has been bidding farewell by facing some of his most iconic rivals, including Randy Orton and CM Punk, in a journey that is serving as a review of his legacy. Meanwhile, Styles is in a rivalry against El Grande Americano, who cost him the Intercontinental title weeks ago. The story took a turn on Raw with the official presentation of two masked men, Los Americanos, allies of Americano who have intervened in his matches.

Cena only has five dates left before his definitive retirement. Three are already confirmed: Crown Jewel on October 11 in Perth (Australia), Survivor Series on November 29 in San Diego, and his last fight at Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13 in Washington D.C. The question now is whether one of the remaining nights will be to revive the clash with "The Phenomenal One."

It is worth noting that John Cena mentioned in a recent interview that in his last matches he performed some moves from opponents he wouldn't be able to fight on his farewell tour, including the Styles Clash in his repertoire. Many fans expressed that Cena should have a final match with the Phenomenal One and, as Cena listens, it is likely that plans have changed.
