Jazmyn Nyx has been making headlines since her departure from WWE was announced. Yesterday, the former member of Fatal Influence confirmed the news, revealing that she had turned down a three-year contract renewal offer because she considered the salary the company intended to pay her insufficient.

Since then, much has been said about the wrestler's rejection of the offer put on the table by WWE and the current salaries that talent in development is earning. These are topics that the specialized media outlet Fightful has discussed with their sources in WWE, who have provided interesting details on the matter.

"Fightful Select has spoken with several sources familiar with the situation, including agents, NXT staff, wrestlers, and more, about the figures being handled and what happened in relation to Nyx's contract. WWE sources confirmed to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select that they wanted to retain her, but were not willing to modify their offer," the outlet wrote.

"From within NXT, it is stated that Nyx had a contract for about $75,000, which is the same amount that was offered to her for a new multi-year contract. It has not been confirmed if that figure would have increased over time. NXT talent can earn considerably less than that when they are first signed or brought in. However, there are some members of the NXT roster who earn six figures, and even more than the minimum salary of the main roster. According to the sources consulted, the base salary on the main roster starts at $350,000," Fightful wrote.

"When someone commented on Instagram that NXT wrestlers earn between $80,000 and $150,000, Jazmyn replied that there would have been no issue if that were indeed the case. An NXT talent said that Nyx probably ended up receiving less than $60,000 after taxes, and also has to cover expenses such as wrestling gear and similar items," the report concluded.

Following her departure, Nyx hinted that she will not continue her career as a professional wrestler to focus on other things she had to set aside after joining WWE. Additionally, she also made it clear that she has no intention of starting an OnlyFans account, as many were suggesting.
