NXT and TNA will battle in the special event "Invasion"

The TNA invasion that took place last Tuesday on NXT will have a resolution. After the chaos unleashed in the latest episode of the WWE's developmental brand, leaders from both brands held a meeting to find a solution. This was explained by Ava during the broadcast of NXT No Mercy.

The General Manager of NXT revealed that she had a lengthy conversation with her counterpart in TNA, Santino Marella, and they had found a way to solve the problem. Ava announced that the NXT show on October 7 will be a special episode. Under the name Invasion, the event will feature two matches similar to Survivor Series, one male and one female. The participants in both matches will be chosen by Ava and Marella in the next episode of NXT.

In addition, The Hardys and DarkState will face off in a tag team match where the tag team championships of both brands will be at stake. However, to prevent the chaos experienced last week from happening again, no one else will be allowed at ringside. This way, the match must end cleanly with one team becoming double champions.

NXT x TNA Invasion will take place on Tuesday, October 7 from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Fans can watch the show live from the venue, or through its broadcast in the United States on The CW and on Netflix internationally. Below is the updated card for the event.
