Piper Niven has been absent from WWE television for weeks due to a neck injury that could potentially impact her career. According to Sean Ross Sapp on Fightful Select, there is still no definitive diagnosis regarding the severity of the injury, but concern exists within the company.

"It's an injury, but this past weekend when I asked, they still weren't sure how serious it was," he noted. "It will continue to be monitored. It's a neck injury, but others have come back from it. She is not expected to return soon. Some fear it could be the end of her career, although those close to her believe she will come back. She won't be on television in the near future."

The report eases the initial alarm raised by Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, who had suggested that there were fears of the worst backstage at WWE. However, the latest update provides a glimmer of hope for her recovery.

Prior to the injury, Niven was on a good streak. Her last match took place on August 22 on SmackDown, where she scored a significant singles victory over Charlotte Flair. Since then, Green has maintained a presence on television, although plans for the Scottish wrestler remain uncertain.
