MJF is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars in the world of professional wrestling. Additionally, within AEW, he is one of the faces of the company. At 26 years old, he has already transcended the world of wrestling, and his influence has reached the world of cinema.

The former All Elite champion had his most relevant appearance on the big screen in recent months. The wrestler played Goldie, the eldest son of the protagonist, having an important role in a feature film that featured stars like Adam Sandler, Bad Bunny, Ben Stiller, and also wrestling star Becky Lynch.

In an interview with Going Ringside, Tony Khan was asked about his worker's acting facet. The AEW president praised MJF's wrestling skills, and then did the same with his acting work. He emphasized the magnitude of the second part of Happy Gilmore, highlighting how it has ranked at the top in the United States. He then spoke about the importance of Maxwell's character in it.

"Happy Gilmore 2 is the most-watched movie in the United States this year, and MJF is a big part of the film. If you remember his four—his very loud four kids, the main son is MJF. He is the standout and is supposed to be tough fighters, and he is definitely the tough guy of Happy Gilmore's four kids," commented Khan. "He is a really talented wrestler and a student of wrestling, a student of wrestling history and technical wrestling. Now he is also a student of acting and he is doing very well. He is filming another movie right now," he added.

Furthermore, he highlighted how the company's wardrobe has been truly impressed with this new facet of his colleague. Khan mentioned that, although this new stage of MJF may not please the cast much (obviously maintaining the kayfabe and referring to the wrestler's odious personality), it has indeed surprised his colleagues. "He is a fundamental part of AEW and is working very hard", he concluded.
