CM Punk has appeared in the WWE ring since his participation in WrestlePalooza, but speculations about him have increased this afternoon. A new detail has confirmed his presence in the promotional material of Crown Jewel, the next premium event that will take place in Perth, Australia.
According to leaks on social media, a local WWE poster in Perth shows CM Punk alongside John Cena, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Tiffany Stratton, Cody Rhodes, and Drew McIntyre, among others. Punk has not yet been announced for the show on the official WWE website, nor on the official poster, but these graphics demonstrate that the former world champion will be part of the show.
As we mentioned, if confirmed, it would be Punk's first appearance at a premium event since WrestlePalooza, where he teamed up with AJ Lee to defeat Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch in a mixed tag team match that generated a lot of buzz.
Last Monday, during the broadcast of Monday Night Raw, WWE confirmed that the wrestler will reappear on the October 6 edition of Monday Night Raw, marking his first television appearance since WrestlePalooza. This move seems to be a prelude to something bigger at Crown Jewel, scheduled for October 11 at the RAC Arena in Perth.
In the event that CM Punk returns to wrestling, it is not very clear who his opponent could be. It is worth noting that Seth Rollins is currently involved in a rivalry with Cody Rhodes, as both wrestlers will face off in the Crown Jewel Championship event.
