2025 has been a year of great changes for TNA Wrestling, starting with the recovery of its former name and ending with a historic collaboration agreement with WWE. On the other hand, WWE is reportedly helping TNA secure a new television contract to increase its visibility.

This could finally become a reality next year, as Carlos Silva, president of TNA Wrestling, revealed in a recent interview with TVInsider.com. Silva disclosed that the company is in the early stages of negotiations with a partner interested in the product, and they are working daily to finalize this agreement.

"We are now in active negotiations with a partner, and we are going to work on it. I can't really set a timeframe on how long it will take. The good news is that the process has already begun. We are no longer just talking to various parties to gauge interest. We now have an interested partner and are working on a possible agreement for 2026," Silva said.

"It will happen as soon as possible. We were working on it as recently as yesterday, exchanging documents and trying to resolve it. We are excited and will continue to drive this forward to reach the finish line. It will be done when it crosses the finish line," he added.

A few months ago, it was reported that TNA Wrestling was negotiating with A&E and The CW to bring its weekly program to a broader platform, with WWE being involved in the process. In fact, there were rumors that the Endeavor-owned company had proposed Wednesday night as the broadcast day for iMPACT!, allowing it to directly compete with AEW Dynamite.

Currently, TNA iMPACT! airs on Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on AXS TV and TNA+. Its move to a broadcast channel like The CW, the television home of WWE NXT, would undoubtedly provide greater visibility and, with it, higher audience ratings, something it has lacked in recent years. This would help continue to boost TNA's recent surge in popularity, which has been reflected in increased attendance at its shows.
