One of the news of the week was, without a doubt, the return of Andrade to All Elite Wrestling after just under two years away from the company. During the latest episode of Dynamite, the Mexican made his return by attacking Kenny Omega and closing a short stint in WWE that we will see if it is not definitive.

In this case, the wrestler's return to the company where he was between the years 2021 and 2023 surprised many. Many remember how hastily he left All Elite at the beginning of 2024, only to end up returning to WWE in a matter of weeks at Royal Rumble. What was unexpected is that, after leaving the TKO company less than a month ago, he appeared in Tony Khan's company in record time, thus executing a triple move (WWE-AEW-WWE-AEW) never seen before.

While the quality and technique of the wrestler inside the ring are unquestionable, many doubt the professionalism and good behavior of the wrestler behind the scenes, especially considering the peculiar trajectory he has in his resume. However, in his intervention in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer found a hidden meaning in AEW's move: "Regarding Andrade, a big part of the reasons for bringing him back is wanting another Hispanic star to help grow the company in Mexico and on Fox Sports Mexico, as he has a big name in that country".

In the midst of AEW's expansion in the Central American country, especially following its alliance with CMLL, it is not surprising that they seek to continue making an impact on the scene through signings of very recognized personalities there. In addition to being a very valuable talent for their weekly programming, they also ensure to maintain their exposure in that country.

Andrade's last match in WWE was that TLC at the SummerSlam 2025 event, where he and Rey Fénix (who was a significant figure in AEW until he left the company earlier this year) failed to become WWE Tag Team Champions.
