MLW Slaughterhouse 2025 Preview: Chamber of Horrors Match for the World Heavyweight Championship

Major League Wrestling (MLW) presents tonight Slaughterhouse 2025, which will be broadcast for free through MLW's official YouTube channel. As usual, our editor Alex Murillo will be in charge of publishing the results and highlights of the show.

Slaughterhouse 2025 will feature the first defense of Mads Krule Krügger's MLW heavyweight championship. After successfully cashing in the Gravity Gamble in Dallas, 'The Black Hand of CONTRA' faces a tough challenge as champion. The Chamber of Horrors will be the stipulation in which Krügger puts the title on the line against five other wrestlers: Matthew Justice, CW Anderson, Mr. Thomas, and two surprise entries to test the strength of the new champion in Los Angeles.

The quarterfinals of the 2025 Opera Cup tournament will be decided in LA. Místico, Último Guerrero, Austin Aries, Paul London, Bishop Dyer, Satoshi Kojima, Volador Jr., and Star Jr. (replacing the recently injured Zandokan Jr.) are looking for a spot in the semifinals and a chance to win the tournament at MLW's debut in Charleston, South Carolina, next November at Lucha de los Muertos.

New talk-show in Major League Wrestling: Shotzi Blackheart will debut The Graveyard Shift, of which we have no details yet, but knowing Shotzi's personality, chaos and terror are guaranteed. Additionally, continuing with the women's division, Shoko Nakajima will defend the Featherweight World Championship against TJPW's wrestler, HIMAWARI, who returns to MLW. Also, Alex Hammerstone and Matt Riddle will star in a spectacular one-on-one match between former champions that, in the past, could have been for the championship, but this time it will be for honor and a rise in the rankings.
