Vince Russo remains relevant in the world of professional wrestling thanks to his criticisms, especially towards WWE and All Elite Wrestling. However, in recent weeks, he has focused on the current management of WWE and Triple H's booking. Nevertheless, he has also dedicated time to Tony Khan.
In a new episode of the Wrestle Binge podcast, Vince Russo criticized the way AEW's President runs the company, pointing out that his desire to keep all roster members happy is hindering its growth. According to Russo, this policy of constant balance has prevented the company from solidifying its top stars.
The problem there is that Tony tries to make everyone happy, and that's impossible in professional wrestling. Every wrestler thinks they should be in the main event. And if you don't believe that, you shouldn't be in this business. But if one wins every week and the next one loses, no one solidifies as a star. That way, you won't get anyone to stand out, brother.
Russo, one of the most recognized creative figures of the Attitude era in WWE, stated that AEW needs to define clear hierarchies and commit to a strong direction if it wants to build stars of the caliber of the great names from the past. For him, Khan's obsession with maintaining harmony among talents ends up diluting the stories and diminishing the impact of the results in the ring.
