Roman Reigns returned to WWE last week on Monday Night Raw to help the Uso brothers fend off a new attack by members of The Vision, Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker. The Tribal Chief had been absent due to filming the new Street Fighter movie and rejoined the action in preparation for Crown Jewel.
During his appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, Reigns talked about his physical condition heading into his upcoming match at WWE Crown Jewel: Perth. The Samoan, who will face Bronson Reed in an Australian Street Fight, acknowledged that he is not at his best after weeks of travel and exhaustion.
"I feel awful. My body is not right. The round trip flight was not pleasant. I've been dealing with jet lag for four weeks. So I thought, why not go down there and try to kill myself?" Reigns declared ironically. "We're going all out, Goldberg style, with total abandonment. I can't feel any worse than I already do, so I'll just give it my all. I'm a live performer, always at 100%. You can have a broken leg behind the curtain, but when your music hits and you cross that curtain, it's like an energy shot."
The Australian Street Fight between Roman Reigns and Bronson Reed will be one of the highlights of WWE Crown Jewel 2025, taking place this Saturday in Perth, Australia. Despite the discomfort, the "Tribal Chief" promises to deliver an intense and physical performance for the Australian audience.
