The unexpected betrayal of The Vision to their leader on the latest episode of WWE Raw has undoubtedly changed the future perspective in the short term that was held about the company's product. If everything seemed to indicate that Rollins, Breakker, and Reed would team up at Survivor Series: Wargames, now it seems impossible to predict what the creative direction will be in the coming months.
Just a few hours ago, news came out that Seth Rollins may have been injured during his match at Crown Jewel against Cody Rhodes, after being seen with his arm in a sling after the match. According to reports, WWE would have decided to change creative plans last minute, accelerating a betrayal by Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker that was originally not planned to happen until next year. However, these may not be the only plans that will change with this medical absence of the Heavyweight Champion.
According to Dave Meltzer from the Wrestling Observer Radio, the events of the last few hours could have even changed the main plans for the next WrestleMania. According to the journalist, Seth Rollins was planned to face Roman Reigns at the grand event of the year 2026. Furthermore, both Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez insisted on the idea that the dissolution of The Vision has been completely abrupt, and the company had to change the creative plans planned in a very short time.
They stated that, while in recent weeks the seeds were being planted for a future breakup of the group, in no scenario was the idea that it would come to this point: "“Especially the way they did the pay-per-view. It was like they were planting the seeds for this to happen in the future. Like when they said: 'What if Cody wins?' And Paul replied: 'Well, we know what will happen.' But then Seth won, right? It was like, okay, they bought a little more time. But we all knew it was eventually going to happen.”
Despite all this turmoil, what the company was clear about is that The Vision's core objective is to turn Bron Breakker into a company superstar, on par with Roman Reigns.
It remains to be seen if the media reports are indeed accurate, especially after their prediction of a Survivor Series: Wargames lineup that seems to be certainly incorrect. However, it is unfair to judge them after the company's creative plans have taken a 180-degree turn.
