Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen have been absent from the television programming of All Elite Wrestling for most of this year. Their last appearance took place last January when they lost the company's Tag Team Championships to The Hurt Syndicate. Since then, there has been much speculation about their future, with some media outlets indicating that their contracts are close to expiring and that WWE has shown interest in them.

In the last few hours, the specialized media Fightful has revealed more details about the case, which could become complicated for Kassidy and Quen if they ultimately decide not to renew with Tony Khan's company, as their contracts would not expire at the same time.

"Neither Marq Quen nor Isiah Kassidy have wrestled in AEW since January, and they have only had one match in HOG since then. However, throughout 2025, they have managed to remain in the news. First, Wrestling Observer reported during the summer that their contracts were nearing expiration. Shortly after, Fightful Select revealed that WWE had maintained interest in them. Additionally, their significant physical development has garnered a lot of attention," the media wrote.

"Since then, we have been looking for updates. We were told that this last aspect could be partially related to Hurt Syndicate, who seem to have shown interest in Private Party. One of the teams that MVP and his group expressed wanting to work with again was precisely Private Party, and sources indicated that Syndicate advised the duo to spend more time in the gym to improve in their careers. Those familiar with the situation assure that Hurt Syndicate has been of great help to them," Fightful wrote.

"Regarding their contracts, Fightful Select reported that both are still under contract, although the situation could become complicated from now on. It was hinted that the two wrestlers have agreements that do not expire at the same time, or may not do so due to the time off due to injuries. It is not yet known if they plan to continue or leave AEW," the report concluded.

Private Party is one of the most veteran teams on the AEW roster. Kassidy and Quen signed with the company in 2019, the year All Elite Wrestling officially debuted on television. Despite becoming one of the most beloved teams by fans, Private Party had to wait until October 2024 to win their first championship in the company. 84 days later, the unstoppable The Hurt Syndicate snatched the gold from them. Since then, they have only competed on one occasion, specifically for HOG (House of Glory) last March.
