WWE is celebrating a new episode of Monday Night Raw tonight, this time number 1,696, from the Paycom Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The show will be broadcast live on Netflix and Solowrestling will bring you the results in this news article as every week.
Tonight's episode will feature several matches and segments of interest, highlighting the start of the second round of The Last Time is Now tournament. In addition, Roman Reigns will make a new appearance before the WarGames match that will take place at Survivor Series. The advantage for this match will be determined tonight. As always, we invite you to comment on the article to give your opinion on what happened on the show.
WWE Raw on Netflix begins!
The show starts with a video recap of the formation of the men's WarGames teams, including the surprises of Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns, which ended up with chaos taking over last week's red brand episode.
We see the arrival of some of tonight's protagonists to the venue: The Vision team in full, Penta, Carmelo Hayes, and Becky Lynch.
"OTC, OTC!" chants the crowd before the theme music of Roman Reigns resonates in the venue. Fans go wild as the Samoan makes his entrance. Roman raises his index finger to the sky, and fireworks explode behind him. Reigns heads to the ring, where he raises his index finger again. The fireworks resonate again, this time louder. Roman enjoys the fans' reception before taking the mic. "OK City, recognize me!", exclaims "The OTC". Fans raise their index fingers to the sky.
Cody Rhodes interrupts the segment!
"The American Nightmare" is welcomed with a big ovation. Fireworks resonate again to welcome the Undisputed WWE Champion, who heads to the ring. Reigns stays in the center of the ring, silent. Once there, Rhodes asks for a mic to stand in front of his once greatest enemy. "Cody, Cody Rhodes," fans chant. "Well, Oklahoma City, what do you want to talk about?", he asks. Cody expected things to be different, but he must acknowledge that Roman is a man of his word. "But the last time you gave me your word was for a match. This time it's war", says Rhodes. The question is, what interest does Roman have in this?
Reigns reminds him that he has already been part of this war. Cody, however, is doing it for the first time. Roman admits that he doesn't like Rhodes, but there's something they have in common: neither of them plays when it comes to family. And in this WarGames team, half of its members are part of his family. Two men, Jimmy and Jey Uso, whom he already had under his tutelage in The Bloodline. "That means I've been investing in The Usos for a long time, and I'm here to oversee that investment", says Reigns. "Understood. So, all I can say is: Welcome to my team!", Rhodes responds as he extends his hand to the Samoan. Roman considers whether to shake it or not. However...
CM Punk interrupts the segment!
The World Heavyweight Champion is welcomed with a big ovation. CM Punk heads to the ring to join Cody and Roman. "CM Punk, CM Punk, CM Punk!" fans chant. "Isn't it great to be alive on a Monday night in Oklahoma City?", he exclaims. "The Best in the World" looks at his two companions before addressing the fans once again. "OK City, recognize us!", he exclaims.
CM Punk points out that in terms of major sports leagues, this weekend's will be an All-Star WarGames. That said, he's glad that Roman gave his word to Cody. Something he doesn't need, because everything is fine with the Samoan after "The Best in the World" saved his life in the last edition of WarGames. "You saved my life and four months later you ruined it," Reigns replies. CM Punk points out that this gave him a reason to later stab him in the back. But he's not worried that it will happen again on Saturday, because if he betrays him, he would also be betraying his cousins. "He would never put his family between a rock and a hard place, right?", CM Punk asks.
Cody reminds CM Punk that they are all on the same team. "The Best in the World" agrees with that, but before he had the impression that Rhodes was calling it "his" team. "Did I hear that right?" CM Punk asks. "Last time I checked, this wasn't SmackDown. This isn't the USA Network. It's Monday night. This is Netflix. You may be the quarterback on Fridays, but here I am the champion. And the 'C' in 'CM' stands for 'captain'", "The Best in the World" adds as he raises the World Heavyweight Title.
Reigns interrupts CM Punk. Roman doesn't care who the team leader is. The only thing that matters is that he hates Paul Heyman and The Vision. "I hate them more than I hate you", the Samoan says to CM Punk. "And since tonight we're being honest, that title would look a lot better on my shoulder", Roman says after looking at his two companions' championships. Reigns steps down from the ring to head backstage. CM Punk takes the mic to ask the Samoan who he was talking to. Reigns laughs. "That's something you'll have to figure out", he says before continuing on his way. And so we reach the end of this segment.
The Vision holds a meeting backstage. Paul Heyman reminds Drew McIntyre that he is still suspended and the only reason he has been allowed access to the venue is because he is part of the WarGames team. That's why he asks him not to do anything reckless, as there are many people who just need a reason to kick him out of the stadium. Tonight he must focus exclusively on his tag team match to gain the advantage in WarGames, adding that the rival team still has to choose the two members who will be part of the fight. Logan Paul interrupts "The Oracle" to guess that Drew's partner will undoubtedly be Brock Lesnar. Heyman replies that no, as "The Beast" is very angry about what happened last week. So much so that he plans to come to Raw for "The OTC". And it's better that Logan doesn't mention it tonight. Logan points out that he was just joking, because Drew's partner will be Bron Breakker. Heyman says no. Bronson Reed? Neither. Having run out of options, Logan points to himself. Heyman replies that yes. "Smart choice," says Logan. "The Maverick" remains silent as the segment comes to an end.

Cody Rhodes, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns converse backstage. Cody points out that what happens between them won't help the team at all. In fact, this is exactly what Paul Heyman wants. The Usos join them. Jey tells them they've talked about many things, but not about what matters tonight: the match that will determine the advantage in WarGames. Jimmy points out that the only way to win is to be on the same page, and the only ones who fit that profile are him and his brother. The Usos promise that tonight they will achieve victory. "YEET," exclaims Jimmy. Both leave their companions behind. They remain silent. "Well, whose team is this? Sorted out", says Reigns to Rhodes and CM Punk before leaving.
Dominik Mysterio makes his entrance. Once in the ring, the crowd begins to boo him. Microphone in hand, Mysterio asks the fans to let him speak, as he is the "King of Wrestlers." Dominik promises that next weekend he will end John Cena's retirement tour. The fans continue to boo. "This Saturday I will humiliate you in my hometown. I will regain my Intercontinental Championship. And at Survivor Series, I will continue to be the greatest Mysterio of all time", he says. Dom points out that it doesn't matter if the fans chant Cena's name, as he is not present on the show. Suddenly...
John Cena's theme music plays!
Fans go wild. However, the one who appears is a dwarf dressed as the seventeen-time world champion. The fake Cena imitates "The Greatest of All Time's" entrance (with a mini Stu recording everything). However, due to his size, he is unable to enter the ring over the apron. That's why he must use the metal stairs. "Mini Cena" stands in front of Mysterio, who can't help but smile. "You don't interrupt me, John", says a laughing Dom. "I should knock you down right where you are. But you know what? I won't waste my energy and I'll let you go, because you have no idea what awaits you at Survivor Series", he adds. "Nice speech, young Dominik. I mean, coming from the worst Mysterio of all time," replies "Mini Cena." Mysterio approaches him to whisper something in his ear. "Stick to the plan," says Dom. "No, no, no. If you don't want to fight me in front of the good people of Oklahoma City, then at Survivor Series, if you want something, you'll get it (If you want some, you can get some). Because the champion is here!, he exclaims.
Tired of a pantomime that didn't go as expected, Dom kicks "Mini Cena," who lies on the mat. After that, he applies his own version of the Five Knuckle Shuffle to him. Mysterio places "Mini Cena" in the ropes to execute a 619. Dominik finishes him off with a frog splash. Mysterio picks up his Megachampionship to pose over his victim.

Raquel Rodriguez speaks with Adam Pearce. The Texan is upset because Nikki Bella interfered in her title match two weeks ago, and now she’s the one getting a world championship opportunity. “And what about me, Pearce?” she asks. The General Manager understands, but the Survivor Series match is already set. Still, he promises to keep her in mind for a future title shot. “Fine,” the Texan says before leaving. At that moment, The New Day and Grayson Waller appear. Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods would love to say they’re happy to be here and part of one of the greatest teams in professional wrestling history, but Pearce has ruined everything—including their vacation. Adam tells them to be quiet, informing them that he called them for a reason: to let them know that Dragon Lee and AJ Styles have agreed to defend the World Tag Team Championships against them. Xavier and Kofi didn’t expect that, so they ask the General Manager to repeat it. “Next week, for the World Tag Team Championships. It’s official,” Pearce says. Kofi and Xavier celebrate the news as they leave the office. Grayson stays behind. “What you just did is great. We have a gift to thank you for it,” the Australian says as he puts a wig on him. Furious, Adam orders him to leave. Waller takes the wig back and obeys the General Manager. “I need a drink,” Pearce says. And that brings this segment to an end.
Becky Lynch makes her entrance to the ring, where she asks for a microphone. Lash Legend and Nia Jax are next to appear. Jax and Legend join the Irishwoman in the center of the ring. At that moment, The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) make their entrance. The Japanese women join their teammates for WarGames.
Becky takes the mic to point out that what happened last week was an injustice. But it’s fine, because her lawyers are already on it. She can’t say anything for legal reasons, but she assures that heads will roll—Jessika Carr’s among them. The referee’s decision will be reversed, and she’ll regain her Intercontinental Championship. That way, the company will be better. And it will be even better once she’s done with AJ Lee. Becky notes that the former Divas Champion made two mistakes. First, costing her the title. And second, taking part in a match that will keep her locked inside a cage with her. “Because I have gathered, on my own, the greatest team in WarGames history,” the Irishwoman says. She admits she’s had her differences with some of them, like Asuka. They’ve faced each other many times, though nine out of ten times the victory went to the Irishwoman. And that brings her to Kairi, whose life she once saved. Becky states that “The Pirate Princess” owes her a lot, so she knows she’ll be loyal. Lynch promises that together they will make IYO SKY pay for what she did. Becky approaches Nia, a strong woman—though not as strong as her, of course. She’s also the only woman who has broken her face. However, thanks to her strong bones, she didn’t need to wear a protective mask like the “rotten” Rhea Ripley. Finally, there’s Legend, her new friend, whom she will take under her wing to make her a star, just as she did with the other three women standing with them in the ring. Lynch continues her promo, promising that Charlotte Flair and the ugly Alexa Bliss won’t know what hit them until…
THIS IS MY BRUTALITY!
Rhea Ripley appears on the scene. IYO SKY soon joins the Australian. Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss and AJ Lee are the next to appear. The five women head toward the ring, where their enemies await. Lee grabs a microphone to address Lynch. AJ notes that her former self would have rushed into the ring to smash her face in, but that won’t happen because therapy works. Unlike Becky, she doesn’t need to belittle others to feel superior. That’s something insecure people do, and she knows very well who the hell she is. “I don’t need to bark like an angry little chihuahua. I don’t bark. I bite.” she says. “You lit a fire inside me, and these women with me have poured gasoline on it. And now you’re making the mistake of locking yourself in a cage with me, where I can unleash the old AJ to do whatever the hell she wants to you,” she adds. “And I know I’m not the only one who can’t wait to drag you off that high pedestal and laugh as you hit the ground. Right, Rhea?” she asks before handing the microphone to the Australian. Rhea steps forward and, without saying a word, uses the mic to hit Jax in the head.
Chaos takes over the ring as both teams launch into an attack. Lash knocks out IYO with a clothesline. Meanwhile, Alexa takes down Kairi with a dropkick. AJ throws Becky into one of the posts. The Irishwoman ends up at ringside. Charlotte kicks Asuka, who falls out of the ring. “The Queen” turns around only to fall into the clutches of Nia and Lash. Alexa and AJ try to surprise them with parallel sleeperholds, but their enemies shake them off. Rhea and Charlotte free themselves from both with a double big boot. IYO launches herself onto Jax, Legend, Asuka and Sane with a moonsault. Meanwhile, a furious Lynch remains safely on the entrance ramp. The Irishwoman heads backstage without waiting for her partners. The face team remains in the ring while the battered Lash, Nia, Asuka and Sane retreat backstage. That brings us to the end of this segment.

Penta returns to surprise Sikoa with a hurricanrana from the top of the barricade. However, the Mexican damages his left arm during the fall.
The referee attends to Penta while Solo returns to the ring. The Samoan waits patiently inside the ring as his rival is checked by medical staff. After a few minutes, the referee returns to the ring to call off the match. A frustrated Penta heads backstage while Alicia Taylor announces the result.
Winner by stoppage: Solo Sikoa
Adam Pearce speaks with Maxxine Dupri backstage. Dupri still can’t believe she is Intercontinental Champion. Pearce advises her to forget the past and focus on what’s coming, because many women will try to take the gold from her. Maxxine notes that having the championship means all her hard work has paid off. But she also knows the job has only just begun, as she wants to be a champion whom fans can respect and be proud of. “Now you get it,” Adam says. “I think I’m going to call Natalya,” Maxxine says. They shake hands before parting ways. After just a few steps, Dupri is intercepted by Ivy Nile. “Hey, that title is mine!” a threatening Ivy exclaims before leaving. Now Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez block the Intercontinental Champion’s path. Roxy only wants to congratulate Maxxine on her victory last week. But she also wants her to be aware that she can take the gold from her at any time. Pearce comes to Dupri’s rescue, asking the Texans if they have anything to discuss with Maxxine, because he certainly does. Raquel and Roxanne decide to leave. “See you soon, champ,” Perez says before doing so. “That call to Natalya—maybe you should make it now,” the General Manager suggests to Dupri before leaving. A serious Maxxine pulls out her smartphone to dial a number. That brings us to the end of this segment.
The Usos make their entrance coming down through the crowd. Jimmy and Jey yeet with the fans as they head toward the ring.
Stephanie Vaquer delivers a video promo. “Nikki, you’ve been here for a very long time. You’re a legend. You made me trust you, and you became my friend. They told me not to trust you, and even then, I made you my friend. And then, you betrayed me. You’re smart, but not as smart as you think. I know your game and I know your history, but you don’t know mine. If you were as smart as you think you are, you’d know exactly who you’re messing with. Now you’re going to pay. A traitor will have no mercy from me. Sweetheart, are you sure you want to step into the ring with me? See you at Survivor Series,” says “La Primera.”

Drew slams Jey’s face against the steps before stomping on his hand. McIntyre brings him back into the ring to continue punishing him. Drew and Logan kick Jey in unison in their corner, forcing the referee to intervene.
Paul punishes Jey using the ropes. The referee pulls him away from his victim, allowing Drew to take advantage and kick Jey. McIntyre and Paul hit a double Vertical Suplex on the Samoan. Drew charges at Jey, but Jey stops him with his legs. Both men end up laid out on the mat. Jey and Drew crawl toward their corners to tag in their partners.
Jimmy enters with full force, hitting Logan with a flurry of attacks. Paul escapes a samoan drop, only to eat an enzuigiri. Jimmy has another one for Drew, who falls to ringside.
