Nikki Bella returned to WWE programming for the second edition of Evolution. The WWE Hall of Famer was supposed to promote the event, as well as compete in it, after which many thought she would disappear from television programming indefinitely. However, that has not been the case.

Nikki has not only continued to appear on screen, but she has also been involved in several storylines with some of the most important women on the WWE Raw roster, including its current top champion Stephanie Vaquer, with whom she has had a rivalry for the gold.

It was supposed to be three months and now it's been a year and it's going to last even longer, and it's been incredible. I've enjoyed it a lot," Nikki said about her current stage in WWE in a recent interview with Outspoken.

Nikki also talked about her recent heel turn, stating her desire to present to the fans her best version as a villain with whom she would also like to retire. Not only that, but she already has in mind the perfect rival she would face in her last match as a professional.

"So, I wanted to be at my best as a villain. I wanted to be the main villain, probably have a faction behind me. Unstoppable, and I think I wanted it to be Rhea Ripley (who would retire me)... She is a force of nature," she said.

Nikki was also asked about WWE's new direction with Triple H in charge of creative direction. Bella debuted as a professional under the guidance of Vince McMahon, so she has experienced firsthand the differences between both stages, which could be summarized in a different treatment of the women's division.

"You know, I've had an incredible relationship with both. Obviously, as you can see with Triple H, he loves women's wrestling, which has been incredible, and gives women the same opportunities that men have. Whether it's match time, women fighting in a cage, women in the main event. He really takes the time to give them those opportunities and that has been wonderful... That's the incredible thing about being back in this new era, and you can see that level of respect with the fans, and I think that's because of Triple H and the respect he has for women's wrestling. It's been a lot of fun to be part of this and think: 'Oh my God, wait, can we do this!? And can we also do that?' It's incredible. So I would say that would be the difference: the opportunity and confidence in women's wrestling," she said.

Despite her defeat against Stephanie Vaquer at WWE Survivor Series: WarGames, Nikki refuses to disappear from the orbit of the Women's World Championship. Bella interrupted a promo by "The First" in the last episode of WWE Raw to demand a rematch. However, she was soon attacked by Raquel Rodriguez, who demanded the same from the champion. It remains to be seen how the story between these three women will end.
