The CW and Netflix will air a new episode of WWE NXT tonight, with Vic Joseph and Booker T at the commentary table, live from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The show will feature several matches and segments of interest, highlighting a North American NXT Championship match that could make Ethan Page the man who has defended it the most times in a single reign.
The show will open with a one-on-one match between Kelani Jordan and Lola Vice, who will put an end to a very personal rivalry. Additionally, we will have two matches that will determine the next challengers for the WWE Speed Championship and the NXT Tag Team Titles. As always, we invite you to comment on the article to give your opinion on what happened on the show.
WWE NXT begins on Netflix!
Kelani Jordan vs. Lola Vice
Lola steps out of the ring to go after Jordan when she appears on the entrance ramp. Vice hits her rival and then takes her back into the ring, where the referee orders the bell to ring. Lola continues to hit her rival. Jordan blocks a punch from Vice and responds with a clothesline. Kelani follows up with a powerslam before focusing her offense on Lola's right hand, the same hand that has been injured in recent weeks.
Vice traps Jordan in a headscissors. Kelani escapes and dives with a crossbody, but her rival stops her in mid-air to go for an armbar. Jordan escapes again, but Vice keeps control. Lola kicks Kelani's stomach. She blocks a new attack to immobilize her opponent's hand on her back and execute a suplex. Lola hurts her hand in the fall.
Vice recovers to kick Jordan. Lola throws several knee strikes to Kelani's stomach, who ends up on ringside. Jordan moves the ring skirt so her rival falls on the apron. Kelani throws her opponent against the metal stairs to continue punishing her. Jordan takes away the wrist guard to hit her hand against the apron.
Kelani continues to attack Vice as she takes her back into the ring. Jordan punishes Lola's injured hand with the help of the ropes. Kelani kicks Vice's face next to one of the corners and then uses the metal of one of the turnbuckle pads to continue damaging her opponent's hand. Jordan traps Lola in a painful submission hold.
Vice frees herself to apply a sleeper hold. Kelani falls back on the canvas to break free. Vice recovers to launch a strong counterattack. Lola kicks Jordan until she corners her. Vice prepares to execute a Running Hip Attack. Kelani runs towards her to avoid it, but only manages to be caught by her opponent, who sends her back to the corner with a German suplex. Vice now executes a Running Hip Attack, followed by a side suplex.
Kelani escapes to ringside, where she receives a back senton. Jordan takes refuge against a wall near the commentary table. Lola heads towards her to execute a back fist, but Kelani dodges it, causing Vice's hand to hit the wall, which is partially destroyed.
Back in the ring, Jordan dives with a 450 Splash, but Lola receives it with her knees to trap her in a Triangle Choke. Kelani stomps on Lola's injured hand to force her release. After that, she applies a painful submission hold directly on Vice's right hand. She resists as much as she can. Unable to break free, she has no choice but to surrender.
Winner by submission: Kelani Jordan
Kelani looks proudly at Lola's condition. "It's broken!", exclaims a dejected Vice as she holds her injured hand.
Tony D'Angelo delivers a promo as he walks down the street. "DarkState, when you arrived at NXT, you attacked me. Now I have all four of you looking over your shoulders. Cutler James, it doesn't surprise me that you were the first to step up considering your past in amateur wrestling. And yes, you were successful on the tatami at Duke University, but then you got involved with the wrong side, and unfortunately for you, I don't care. I want you to make sure your leader, Dion Lennox, is watching tonight. DarkState, you took everything from me. Starting tonight, I'll do the same to you," he says.
The members of DarkState gather backstage. Dion Lennox responds to D'Angelo, making it clear that he will be present in his match. Cutler James promises his teammates that tonight he will take care of Tony, who will regret coming back. On their part, Shaqon Shugars and Osiris Griffin will be watching the fatal four-way match that will determine the next challengers for their Tag Team Championships.
We see Ricky Saints arriving at the venue's parking lot, where he is soon attacked by Joe Hendry! Several security members have to intervene to separate them.
Sarah Schreiber interviews Shiloh Hill in the locker room. Sarah asks Hill how he has prepared to face Ethan Page. Hill responds that he has studied his opponent well. "All Ego" may be a talker, but he has kept his word, retaining the gold in every match. Still, Shiloh is confident he can beat him tonight. Hank Walker and Tank Ledger join the conversation to point out that Hill can make it, as he knows how to deal with pressure after studying at Stamford University. "Once the bell rings, my destiny and that of the championship will be intertwined. No matter what Ethan does. There is only one solution, one constant: Shiloh Hill is the champion, baby!," exclaims Hill before leaving. Ledger acknowledges that Shiloh is a very peculiar guy, but he likes him. Hank and Tank head to their lockers to prepare for their match tonight.
Say his name and he appears!
Joe Hendry makes his entrance. However, unlike other times, the Scotsman heads to the ring without posing with the fans. Furious, Hendry grabs a microphone to address Ricky Saints. "Why don't you leave the safety of backstage and come out here so we can settle this here and now?!", he exclaims.
"The Absolute" appears in the audience's box. "Why are you so angry?", asks Ricky. "Is this the champion you want? The guy who attacked me in the parking lot?", he asks the fans. Saints admits he can't stand the fact that Joe is carrying a championship that belongs to him. A title he stole from him. And that's a topic they should be talking about. Ricky regrets that in today's wrestling, no matter how good you are, "It doesn't matter how good you are. As long as you have a song to share, as long as you can make them feel like they're part of the show, you'll cover it all up, right? I can see through all that. You bring NXT and that championship several steps down," says Saints. He points out that NXT is a place that creates superstars, but now it has a meme as a champion, a social media star. And yes, maybe the fans support him, but it's only because they can identify with the Scotsman. They are all losers. Ricky, on the other hand, has the talent and appeal needed to be a true champion.
"Ricky, there you are with egos and opinions, but the difference between you and me is that I rely on facts. It's a fact that I'm something you're not: NXT Champion! And as far as I know, that makes me the best in NXT," says Joe. "Do you know what you're the best at? Marketing," Ricky replies. He makes it clear that he is the real number one in the brand. The fans need real answers. And only "The Absolute" can give them. Saints assures that he has worked hard to elevate NXT, and he won't let Joe ruin everything.
Hendry would like Ricky to back up his words with actions, so he proposes that he come down to the ring to face him. Saints accepts the challenge, but it won't be today, it will be on Saturday, March 7 at NXT Vengeance Day. "It will be Joe Hendry vs. Ricky Saints for MY NXT Championship!," exclaims "The Absolute". "You know what? I ACCEPT," exclaims Joe. "And Ricky, it will be as always: you whining and blaming everyone else for your failures. Meanwhile, in the venue, 'We Believe' will continue to be chanted," he adds. "We believe! We believe!" chant the fans. "Ricky, I want you to hear this. I have no problem kicking your ass at Vengeance Day!," Hendry poses with the belt in one of the corners as the segment comes to an end.
Izzi Dame watches Tatum Paxley's promo from last week. "Drowning because of me... The only thing you don't need help for," says Dame. Shawn Spears and Niko Vance join their teammate. Spears asks her what's going on. "It amuses me that Tatum keeps trying to convince herself and everyone else that there is some kind of final mystical version of herself that no one has seen before. By the way, there isn't," says Izzi. She points out that Tatum is unable to reinvent herself. "No matter what version of Tatum shows up at Vengeance Day. Every version of Tatum ends with me retaining the NXT North American Championship," she says. Spears and Vance point out that it's time to conquer the NXT Tag Team Championships. This is why they have worked so hard. Vance hoped his path to DarkState and gold would be quick and easy, but Robert Stone has complicated everything. Spears reminds him that all teams want those championships. Niko understands. That's why The Culling must become the variable that no one can prepare for, the reason the future folds. "Calculated, controlled to benefit us," adds Shawn. "Like the new number one contenders. That's what it is," says Izzi to end the segment.
Tony D'Angelo vs. Cutler James (with Dion Lennox)
D'Angelo dodges Cutler's first attack to take him down with a side slam. Tony corners James in one of the corners to hit him at will. Cutler quickly recovers to respond forcefully. D'Angelo recovers to execute three consecutive german suplexes. James kicks Tony in an attempt to stop his offense, but his rival immediately responds with a spear. D'Angelo finishes Cutler with a spinebuster. 1..2..3.
Winner: Tony D'Angelo
Lennox attacks D'Angelo right after the match. Dion hits his enemy in the ropes area. Lennox approaches James to help him get up. However, when he turns towards Tony, he tackles him with a spear! D'Angelo throws Cutler out of the ring with a clothesline. Tony pushes Lennox out of the ring and then throws him against the metal stairs. D'Angelo catches Dion to execute a powerslam on the stairs. Tony is about to crush his legs with a part of the stairs, but James saves his partner just in time. Several officials appear on the scene to separate them.
We see Ethan Page talking to The Vanity Project (Jackson Drake, Brad Baylor, and Ricky Smokes) in the locker room. "All Ego" reminds Swipe Right that tonight they have the opportunity to get one step closer to gold, like Drake and himself. Myles Borne appears on the scene. Page knew Borne would come to him. And he also heard the advice Robert Stone gave him. However, there is nothing he can do to grant him a shot at his North American Championship. "I told you to show your killer instinct, not to grab the championship and hit me with it. What you showed was frustration," says Ethan. "Wait. Are you saying there's no way you can convince me of this? We'll see," says Myles before leaving, bumping into Ricky Saints as he exits the door. "The Absolute" approaches Page and The Vanity Project. Smokes regrets that Joe Hendry attacked him tonight. Ricky agrees, but at least he got what he wanted. "After Vengeance Day, all of us will be champions," says Saints. But before that, tonight Page will break the record for the most title defenses in a North American reign. "Why? Because you're All Ego," says Ricky. "And you're absolutely right," replies Page as he shakes Ricky's hand. And so we come to the end of this segment.
Four Corners Match for a shot at the NXT Tag Team Championships
OTM (Bronco Nima and Lucien Price) vs. Swipe Right (Brad Baylor and Ricky Smokes) (with Jackson Drake) vs. Hank Walker and Tank Ledger vs. The Culling (Shawn Spears and Niko Vance)
Price and Spears start the fight. Lucien quickly takes down his opponent. Concerned, he approaches Swipe Right's corner, who decide to leave the ring to avoid the tag. Price knocks down Shawn with a headbutt before tagging in Bronco. Smokes takes over from Spears, only to fall to a tremendous clothesline executed by Nima. Ledger tags in for Bronco.
Hank and Tank team up against Ricky. Walker executes a powerslam on Smokes, who Ledger finishes with a splash. 1..2..NO. Niko tags in for Ricky. Vance knocks down Tank before asking him to tag in Lucien. He quickly catches Ledger to tag in Lucien. Price and Niko test their strength. Lucien knocks down Vance with a clothesline. Shawn tries to intervene but receives the same punishment.
Niko and Spears regroup at ringside. Hank is about to enter the ring, but Lucien prevents him with a shoulder tackle. Ledger approaches his partner. Meanwhile, Swipe Right tries to surprise OTM, but without success. Nima and Price catch them to execute a chokeslam in parallel towards ringside, where they land on the other wrestlers.
Price takes Vance back into the ring. Tank tags in to continue the fight, but Niko quickly recovers. Vance throws Ledger against his corner. Spears tags in to continue hitting Tank. Baylor tags in, which annoys Spears, who pushes him. However, the referee orders Shawn to follow the rules of this match. Swipe Right team up against Ledger. Spears surprises Smokes to tag in.
Tank dodges a diving headbutt from Niko to tag in Hank, who enters with everything. One by one, all participants end up falling to ringside. Walker hits Brad in the center of the ring when he realizes his partner is being attacked by The Culling. Furious, Hank charges against Spears with a suicide dive. Meanwhile, on another side, Smokes dodges a charge from Nima, causing him to hit a post. Ricky turns, only for Lucien to throw him onto his own partner (Baylor).
We return to the ring, where chaos erupts again. Price crushes Tank with a stomp before combining with Bronco to execute their combined finisher on Vance. 1..2..NO. Smokes, Baylor, Spears, Hank, and Tank interrupt the count. The action moves to the top of the four corners, where a quadruple superplex takes place, leaving all eight competitors lying on the mat. "NXT, NXT!" chant the fans.
Hank and Tank trade attacks with OTM. Ledger dodges a charge from Lucien, who ends up at ringside. Tank disposes of Nima, only to be struck by a running knee strike from Brad. Walker gets his revenge with a Black Hole Slam. Nima, Ledger, Vance, Smokes, and Spears are sent out of the ring in rapid succession. Shawn catches Baylor to deliver a Death Valley Driver. 1..2..NO. Drake grabs Spears’ leg to pull him away from his partner, interrupting the three-count.
Furious, Shawn grabs Jackson by the hair. OTM take advantage of the situation to crush Spears’ head with a double stomp. Hank and Tank knock Nima and Price off the apron before launching them onto the announce table, which is left destroyed. Meanwhile, Smokes shoves a dazed Baylor, who falls onto a knocked-out Spears. 1..2..3.
Winners: Swipe Right
We see a promotional video starring Keanu Carver. He recalls his origins growing up on the tough streets of Washington, D.C. Only the strong could survive there. Many teachers tried to guide him, but they couldn’t because they never truly knew him. Carver started playing football because he thought it was a good way to crush others. Apparently, he was good at it, because he was offered the chance to continue playing in college. There, he met a coach who told him he wasn’t doing things the right way. "They kicked me off the team. My coach tried to control me, but he couldn’t. You can’t control me. NXT can’t control me. Sean Legacy, you’ll find that out next week when we meet in the ring", he says to close his promo.
We head backstage, where Joe Hendry asks Robert Stone to hand over Ricky Saints, as he doesn’t want to wait until Vengeance Day to get his hands on him. The Interim General Manager of NXT informs him that he has sent “The Absolute” home, and hopes the Scot will do the same. After all, to be fair, it was Joe who attacked Ricky first tonight. Hendry complies without protest.
Meanwhile, we see Sol Ruca looking for Zaria. Sol finally finds her, but her partner won’t let her speak. Zaria is very angry, as Sol once again stole a title opportunity from her last week. The Australian is tired of this friendship that has only benefited one of them. Last week was the final time Ruca will steal an opportunity from her, because this friendship is over. "No more being used. No more getting nothing. And no more this friendship. You can talk to Fatal Influence on your own. If you can’t do it, go to Hell!", Zaria exclaims before storming off.
Fatal Influence (Jacy Jayne, Lainey Reid, and Fallon Henley) make their entrance. Jacy takes the mic to make it clear that she didn’t come out to complain about the title defense that will pit her against Sol Ruca. No. Quite the opposite. In fact, this may be the match she’s most wanted to have. Jayne admits she’s jealous of Ruca, because despite everything she’s accomplished in NXT, fans still think Sol is better than her. Jacy lists her major achievements on the brand, including her historic reign as a double NXT and TNA Champion, as well as her victory over Stephanie Vaquer, a woman who will compete at WrestleMania this year as WWE Women’s World Champion. And yet, who received the NXT Superstar of the Year award? Sol Ruca. Who took part in John Cena’s retirement show representing the NXT women’s division? That’s right, Sol Ruca. Who received all the attention at the latest Royal Rumble? Once again, Sol Ruca. "Sol Ruca has been forced on us, not just on me, but on all of you. They’ve been forcing her on us all year. And that’s enough. The only reason she got a shot at this championship is because she sacrificed her best friend. Next week you won’t have your best friend by your side, and you can be sure you won’t have the NXT Women’s Championship either", she says. Jacy points out that she didn’t win the title by being flashy or by jumping around every five seconds. She won it because she’s the best wrestler in NXT—and the most underrated in all of WWE today.
Sol Ruca interrupts the promo!
Sol admits Jacy is right about one thing: there’s no one more jealous of others’ success than her. It’s been that way since day one, and she’s been here for four years now. "You may be champion, but you’re still the same old Jacy Jayne", Ruca says as she enters the ring. Sol doesn’t care what she has to say about her, but she won’t allow her to speak badly about her friend Zaria. Jacy, meanwhile, believes Ruca is finally understanding what she learned some time ago—that she needs to leave her friends behind, because there’s only room for one at the top. "Sol, just like your friendship is over, so will any chance of you becoming NXT Women’s Champion", Jacy says. Ruca points out that Jacy can’t understand true friendship, because she’s never known it. Zaria doesn’t live in her shadow—she stands beside her. “You’ve got your little group. You’ve got your title. But it’s still not enough, is it? You wanted this match. Next week I’ll rip your soul out and become the new NXT Women’s Champion. You came here being toxic to become fatal, but when I beat you, it’ll confirm what you already know deep down: Sol Ruca is better than Jacy Jayne,” Sol says.
Furious, Jacy slaps Sol. Reid and Henley attack Ruca. Jayne quickly joins in. Suddenly, Zaria storms the ring! The Australian teases attacking Sol, prompting Fatal Influence to restrain her. However, Zaria spears Fallon. She knocks Lainey out with a headbutt before grabbing Jacy. Reid tries to save her partner, but Zaria stops her with a big boot. Lainey regroups with Henley at ringside. Zaria approaches the ropes, looking to throw Jacy onto them. The Australian then turns to help Ruca back to her feet. The two women embrace. The heels remain laid out on the mat as Zaria and Sol look on from the ropes.
Sean Legacy approaches Elio LeFleur and Eli Knight in the locker room. Legacy can’t wait to see which of them will face Jasper Troy for the WWE Speed Championship. Knight points out that Troy isn’t the only monster they’ll have to deal with next week, as Sean will also face Keanu Carver. Legacy promises he won’t be overwhelmed by Keanu. Elio notes that all three of them are being underestimated, but they will spread their wings to take down those giants. LeFleur fist-bumps Knight. “May the best man win,” Eli says. “We’ll see,” Elio replies as both men head to the ring.
WWE Speed Championship No. 1 Contender Tournament – Final
Eli Knight vs. Elio LeFleur
The two begin with a fast exchange of strikes and counters. LeFleur surprises Knight with a clothesline before kicking him in the corner. Eli responds with a belly-to-belly suplex, sending his opponent crashing into the turnbuckles. Both men end up at ringside as they attempt to suplex each other.
Eli lands an Asai Moonsault on LeFleur and brings him back into the ring. The two exchange roll-ups. Knight catches Elio with a superkick before going for a springboard, but the Frenchman counters mid-air into a powerbomb. 1..2..NO. LeFleur attempts a 450 splash. Knight avoids it and fires back with a running knee strike. The action moves to the top rope, where LeFleur delivers an inverted superplex. However, the three-minute time limit expires.
Draw
Robert Stone appears on stage. The Interim General Manager acknowledges the WWE Speed rules: a draw means both competitors are disqualified, allowing the champion to retain without competing. However, after witnessing the performance by LeFleur and Knight, he has decided both men will receive a title opportunity. Next week, they will face Jasper Troy in a Triple Threat Match. Additionally, since it’s a special match, the time limit will be extended to seven minutes instead of five. LeFleur and Knight argue about their match as the segment ends.
An energetic Shiloh Hill waits to make his entrance when he runs into Myles Borne. Shiloh doesn’t know what’s going on between Borne and Page, but he knows Myles wants a title shot. That’s why he promises that once he becomes North American Champion, he’ll give him that opportunity. "I appreciate it, but it has to be Ethan. I need to prove him wrong", Myles replies. Hill thinks that’ll be difficult, because after tonight, the belt will be his. “If you have it,” Borne responds. Myles warns him he won’t stand by quietly, threatening to show Hill a side of him he’s never seen. Shiloh tells him to do it right here and now. Tension rises until referees intervene. One official informs Hill his match is next. Shiloh heads out.
Uriah Connors tries to convince Charlie Dempsey to join Lexis King’s faction, but Dempsey isn’t convinced. Uriah reminds him they’ve known each other since childhood. “We’re cut from the same cloth. Just think about it,” Connors says. Dempsey leaves without responding. King, Arianna Grace, and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo appear. Uriah congratulates Grace on her recent TNA title win. Lexis notes that everyone is achieving something and asks about Charlie. Connors says he’s working on it. King leaves it in his hands and informs Uriah that next week he’ll get a chance to prove himself against his old friend Kale Dixon. Connors points out that “Stacks” didn’t have to prove anything to join the group. Lorenzo replies that being committed to Arianna was enough—she turned a bad night at TNA No Surrender into a triumph by winning the Knockouts World Championship. Arianna says she had her chance to prove herself; now they’ll do the same for Uriah. “I know. I’ve got this. Don’t worry,” Connors says as the segment ends.
Robert Stone speaks with Fallon Henley in his office. The Interim GM wants to start a tournament to determine the next challenger for her WWE Speed Women’s Championship. Blake Monroe joins the conversation to officially introduce herself to the new General Manager. “We’ve known each other for almost a year,” Stone replies. Monroe ignores the comment and expresses her frustration over what happened last week with Jaida Parker. Stone informs her that Jaida has been suspended for attacking several NXT officials. The Brit is pleased to hear that. “I like you already. I might even say you’re the best in the world,” she says. Stone adds that Parker is also dealing with a neck injury. At first, he thought it was an accident, but now he’s not so sure. Fallon interrupts, reminding Stone they weren’t finished. He apologizes and explains there’s one more spot to fill in the tournament bracket—and since Blake is here, she’d be perfect. “I’m perfect for everything,” Monroe replies. Stone announces the tournament will begin next week with Blake facing Thea Hail. Fallon laughs. “Thea?” asks a displeased Glamour. Stone believes it’s perfect, given their shared history. Monroe leaves without another word. “Good luck, Blake,” Fallon says with a smile.
The members of DarkState gather backstage. The four men vow not to let people forget who they are and what they do. They’ll keep proving that when DarkState strikes, no one is safe.
Zaria and Sol Ruca talk backstage. Sol thanks Zaria for helping her tonight. Zaria admits she said terrible things, but the truth is they make a great team. Sol wouldn’t have come this far without her, and vice versa. It’s just that things haven’t felt the same since Ruca injured her knee and lost both her championships. Zaria wants everything to go back to how it was—and believes it will if Sol becomes NXT Women’s Champion. Ruca rests her head on the Australian’s shoulder. Myles Borne walks past them. They ask if everything’s okay. "Yes. I know exactly what I need to do now", Borne says before continuing on his way.
NXT North American Championship Match
Ethan Page (c) vs. Shiloh Hill
The two men lock up. Page traps Shiloh in a wristlock. Hill breaks free and takes the champion down. Page answers with a headlock, but Shiloh quickly escapes. Hill applies a submission hold. “All Ego” reaches the ropes for the break. Furious, Ethan exits the ring and grabs a steel chair. Hill snatches it away and returns it to its place.
The action returns to the ring. Shiloh hits two consecutive Electric Chair drops on Page, who answers with a back elbow. Hill regains control, kicking “All Ego” near the ropes. Page grabs his title belt and re-enters the ring, but his opponent quickly takes it from him and places it back on the apron. Ethan tries to catch Shiloh off guard, but Hill drops him with a clothesline.
The Vanity Project appear. Hill approaches them and orders them to leave. The faction members assure the referee they’re only there to watch. The official allows them to stay. Shiloh returns to the ring and delivers a diving clothesline to Ethan. Hill follows with a corner spear. He goes for another in the opposite corner, but the champion moves, sending Hill crashing into the turnbuckles.
Page drops Hill with a dropkick and locks in a headlock. Shiloh throws elbows to break free, but Ethan kicks him down. Hill fights back, only to be taken down with a big boot. 1...2...NO. The action moves to the corner. “All Ego” delivers a powerslam from the second rope. 1..2..NO. Ethan orders The Vanity Project to remove the protective mats at ringside.
Ethan drags Shiloh to that area and sets up for an Ego’s Edge. However, Hill slips free and rolls back into the ring. Shiloh removes his mouthguard to launch a counterattack. Hill floors Ethan with a side slam. The Vanity Project decide to get involved. Drake and Smokes climb onto the apron, only to be knocked down by Hill.
Shiloh exits the ring to continue dealing with The Vanity Project. He grabs Drake and slams him onto the announce table. At that moment, Ethan surprises him with a Twisted Grin. Hill’s head crashes onto the exposed floor. “All Ego” drags Shiloh back into the ring and hits a second Twisted Grin. 1..2..3.
Winner and STILL NXT North American Champion: Ethan Page
The Vanity Project assault Hill. Myles Borne runs out to make the save! Borne takes out Drake, Smokes, and Baylor. Shiloh dives onto them with a tope con hilo. Myles pounces on Page, unleashing a barrage of punches. "Give me my title match!" he shouts. Hill slides a steel chair into the ring. Myles places it around the champion’s left ankle and threatens to crush it if he doesn’t get what he wants. Ethan refuses. Borne leaps for a stomp, but “All Ego” stops him, promising he’ll get his match next week. “Do it! Do it!” the fans chant. Myles starts to leave the ring. Ethan smirks. “I knew you wouldn’t,” he says. Myles turns around—and stomps down on the chair! Page screams in pain, clutching his ankle. Borne picks up the championship and holds it up before “All Ego.” Officials rush out to prevent further damage. And with that, this week’s episode of NXT comes to a close.
