CM Punk is once again at the center of controversy for issues unrelated to wrestling after the wrestler threw to the ground a fan's mobile phone that was recording his wife without her consent. TMZ was the media outlet that published that video. However, at that time, not much more context was provided.

It was some eyewitness comments of what happened that assured that the fan had crossed the line with AJ Lee and Bayley, invading their personal space despite the WWE superstars' refusal. Versions that coincide with the new footage that TMZ has directly released from the fan's mobile phone in question.

In the video, you can see how Bayley and AJ Lee try to say goodbye by moving away from the fan. However, he follows them while continuing to film. At one point, Bayley pushes the fan's phone away, which ultimately leads to CM Punk exploding at the fan, swatting his smartphone to the ground.

The rest of the sequence is well known to everyone. Security intervenes, and the fan walks away from the scene apologizing to "The Best in the World," who continues to confront him about his behavior. According to TMZ, the fan will not press charges against CM Punk, although he expects an apology from the wrestler. It is worth noting that some witnesses claimed that the fan even touched AJ Lee in an attempt to take a photograph, something not shown in the video shared by TMZ.

Regardless of the responsibilities and mistakes made by those involved, the fact is that these incidents were all too common during WrestleMania weekend. While it is true that the majority of fans act responsibly, there are others who are more "passionate" and do not hesitate to cross the thin line between admiration and harassment.
