Sol Ruca needed eight stitches in her head after her match at NXT Revenge

NXT Revenge marked the end of one of the most prominent rivalries in the developmental brand in recent months. Sol Ruca and Zaria were chosen to close the event with a Last Woman Standing Match that ended with a spot that left fans breathless... and Ruca with eight staples in her head, as the wrestler has revealed on her social media.

In the final moments of the match, both women set up two tables under the balcony of the stands, located several meters high. Ruca and Zaria took the fight to the balcony, from which the Australian was on the verge of falling. Sol prevented the disaster to embrace her former friend. However, this glimpse of reconciliation came to a sudden end when Zaria pushed Ruca, who plummeted into the void.

However, the fall was not as perfect as it should have been. Sol did not land flat, causing only one of the tables to break upon impact. The wrestler's head hit the second table, causing the large cut she has shown on her social media.

Sol's defeat at NXT Revenge could be the wrestler's final chapter in the developmental brand. After her appearance on the most recent episode of WWE Raw, it is expected that the former North American champion will move to the red brand's roster imminently, as her partner Ethan Page did on that same show. However, it is unknown when she will receive medical clearance to return to competition.
