Big E will continue to be part of WWE, according to a new report from Fightful that internally describes him as a "valuable presence" and a key reason for the success of the PLE Kickoff shows. His situation has gained relevance again after Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods left the company, leaving open questions about the future of the last active member of The New Day under contract with WWE.

Big E has not wrestled since the serious neck injury he suffered in 2022, and since then he has mainly worked on broadcasting duties and on-screen appearances. There is currently no confirmation that he will return to compete, and he has made it clear in recent interviews that he considers himself retired for now.

After speaking with sources familiar with the production of the monthly 'WWE Kickoff' shows, Wrestlevotes Radio, on Fightful Select, reports that it is believed Big E will continue to be part of the 'Kickoff' shows, as he has been doing so far. Some fans raised questions about this after Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods left the company. Internally, Big E is considered a valuable presence and is seen as one of the key reasons for the success of the 'Kickoff' show.

Big E himself explained in the past that doctors strongly advised him not to return to the ring, even if he was medically cleared. He also explained that when he told them he was leaning towards leaving wrestling, one of the doctors practically breathed a sigh of relief, a detail that ultimately influenced his decision.

His continuity in WWE as an on-screen figure aligns with the role he has been playing in the PLE Kickoff and other analysis formats. For now, the big question is not whether he will stay with the company, but if he will ever step back into the ring.
