WWE has updated its roster page to move AJ Lee, Paige, and The Bella Twins to the section of free agents. Alongside them, the names that continue to appear in that section are Danhausen, Omos, and Oba Femi.
The move does not imply a departure from the company, but confirms that they remain under contract and available for future appearances. In Paige's case, she had already been placed in the "current" area of the roster, while The Bellas were featured on Raw and AJ Lee was also linked to that brand before the change.
AJ Lee returned to WWE in September 2025 after nearly a decade away, she began a rivalry with Becky Lynch and won the Intercontinental Championship at Elimination Chamber, although she lost the title at WrestleMania. After that period, she herself said she would take some time away from WWE, but would return soon.
Paige returned to wrestling in WWE for the first time since 2017 after overcoming the neck injury that forced her to retire prematurely. On the other hand, Nikki Bella returned last year and Brie signed a new contract this year, although Nikki's foot injury kept her out of the four-way tag team title match at WrestleMania.
The update makes it clear that WWE continues to consider all of them as active talent, just without a fixed assignment to a brand. In practical terms, this opens the door to occasional appearances and future storylines when the company decides to use them.
