All Elite Wrestling revealed last night the male and female brackets for the upcoming edition of the Owen Hart Foundation tournament, a competition that has already become an annual classic in the company. As in previous years, the qualifiers will take place over several weeks, with the finals set to happen on June 28 at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2026.

The company also confirmed that the tournament winners will receive an opportunity for the world championship in their respective divisions. These matches will take place at AEW All In London, an event scheduled for August 30 at the iconic Wembley Stadium.

Male Tournament - Quarterfinals

  • Will Ospreay vs. Samoa Joe (May 24 - AEW Double or Nothing)
  • Mark Davis vs. "Jungle" Jack Perry (date to be revealed)
  • Bandido vs. Swerve Strickland (May 24 - AEW Double or Nothing)
  • Claudio Castagnoli vs. Brody King (date to be revealed)

Female Tournament - Quarterfinals

  • Persephone vs. Hazuki (date to be revealed)
  • Willow Nightingale vs. Alex Windsor (May 24 - AEW Double or Nothing)
  • Mina Shirakawa vs. Athena (date to be revealed)
  • Skye Blue vs. Sareee (date to be revealed)

The Owen Hart Foundation tournament debuted in 2022 and has not missed its annual appointment since then, with four editions that are already part of the company's history. In the first edition, Adam Cole and Britt Baker were crowned inaugural champions. In 2023, Willow Nightingale and Ricky Starks won the cup.

Mariah May and Bryan Danielson emerged victorious in 2024, becoming the first to also earn an opportunity for the company's male and female World Championships at AEW All In London. Last year's winners, Mercedes Moné and "Hangman" Adam Page, received that opportunity at AEW All In Texas, but only Page was able to capitalize on it and become the world champion.
