All Elite Wrestling expanded the AEW Double or Nothing card with four new matches, three of them belonging to the quarterfinals of the Owen Hart Foundation tournament, whose brackets were revealed in the most recent episode of AEW Dynamite, broadcast last night from the Harrah's Cherokee Center- Asheville in Asheville, North Carolina.

On the men's side, Will Ospreay will face Samoa Joe, while Swerve Strickland will take on current ROH World Champion Bandido. The winners will await the results of the remaining two matches to know their opponents. On the women's side, TBS Champion Willow Nightingale will face NJPW STRONG Women's Champion Alex Windsor.

Additionally, Ricochet introduced his new team members for the traditional Stadium Stampede: Andrade "The Idol" from the Don Callis Family and The Dogs members Clark Connors and David Finlay, who expressed their desire to seek revenge against The Young Bucks.

Finally, Darby Allin will defend the AEW World Championship against MJF in a "Title vs. Hair" match. Both signed the contract for the match in the final minutes of the episode. MJF made it clear that his only goal is to create a legacy, and for now, it will be to become a three-time world champion. He aims to be remembered as the greatest wrestler in history and the peak of the mountain that Allin only aspired to climb. "I don't care about legacy. I only care about living in the moment!" exclaimed Darby before promising that MJF will leave Double or Nothing bald.

Despite the doubts that have plagued him over the past week, MJF decided to accept his opponent's condition. However, after signing the document, he launched an assault on the champion, even attempting a piledriver from the second rope. Fortunately for Allin, Kevin Knight came to the rescue to prevent the tragedy.

AEW Double or Nothing will take place on Sunday, May 24, 2025, at the Louis Armstrong Stadium in Queens, New York. Fans can watch the show from the stands, through traditional pay-per-view, or via the HBO Max and MyAEW platforms. Below is the announced card for the show.
