Tonight, WWE continued with the action celebrating a new edition of Saturday Night's Main Event, which featured great matches and segments throughout the evening. In one of the title matches, Penta managed to retain the Intercontinental Championship against Ethan Page.

The match started with an intense struggle where Penta took an early advantage with a hurricanrana and a spinning backbreaker. However, Ethan Page responded with a precise dropkick and took the action to ringside, where he stopped the masked wrestler with a body drop that made him crash into the Spanish commentary table, thus taking full control of the match.

The champion managed to react and unleashed a spectacular dive with a dive out of the ring, followed by a springboard DDT from the ropes that almost gave him the victory. From that moment on, the match turned into a power struggle in the center of the ring, where Page came close to winning after hitting a painful Avalanche Powerslam from the third rope.

In the final moments, "All Ego" tried to play dirty by removing the corner pads to slam the Mexican against the steel; however, the strategy backfired when he himself ended up crashing into the unprotected structure. Penta didn't forgive the mistake and immediately finished off his opponent with a definitive Mexican Destroyer to secure the three count.
