Tonight we will once again enjoy a new live broadcast of WWE SmackDown, which this time will be live from the Pavelló Olímpic de Badalona in Barcelona, Spain. This will be the first televised show of the company on its European tour prior to Clash in Italy, and it will feature several segments and matches of interest, highlighting a one-on-one between Axiom and The Miz. Additionally, Cody Rhodes has a final message for Gunther before their clash in Turin.
As always, we invite you to comment on the article to give your opinion on what happened in the show.
Jordynne Grace defeated Kiana James in the previous recordings of WWE Main Event.
WWE SmackDown on Netflix begins!
We see the arrival of some of the protagonists of this Spanish night to the venue: Cody Rhodes, Gunther, Ricky Saints, Carmelo Hayes, Chelsea Green, and The Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax and Lash Legend).
Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore (accompanied this time by the Spanish commentators from Netflix, Álvaro Carrera and Miguel Perez) welcome us to the show before showing a video summary of Saturday Night's Main Event.
Jade Cargill, B-Fab, and Michin are the ones to open the show. The Spanish fans greet them with loud boos. Once in the ring, Jade takes the floor, but is quickly silenced by new boos. "Out! Out!" chant the fans. Cargill believes that the fans are acting as if they have something to prove. She, however, doesn't need to. She does what she wants because there is no one like her. "You're angry just because I do what I want!" exclaims "The Storm." B-Fab speaks up to ensure that Cargill will defeat Rhea Ripley because she is the most dominant woman. "The future is not on its way. The future is now," adds Michin. Jade takes the floor again while the fans continue shouting.
THIS IS MY BRUTALITY!
Rhea Ripley interrupts the promo. The fans welcome her with a great ovation. The Australian heads to the ring, where she quickly stands in front of "The Storm" and her companions. "Hello, hello, hello!" chant the fans. Rhea points out that Jade only boasts of her dominance when everyone knows she needs help to do so. That's why when they face each other one-on-one, victory always falls on "Mami's" side. She defeated her at WrestleMania, and she will do it again in Italy. And when Jade sees her lying on the mat, she will see her true champion. Cargill assures Rhea that Michin and B-Fab are with her by their own will. Because they want to be with the best. Ripley, on the other hand, allies with women she doesn't even like.
Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss interrupt the segment!
Both women head to the ring. "Alexa, Alexa!" shout the fans. Charlotte goes straight to Jade. Flair respects "The Storm's" achievements, but to say that she is the future? Bliss agrees with her partner, pointing out that compared to them, she is still a rookie. Alexa recalls that she has shared the ring with much better talents than them both in-ring and on the mic. So she better not provoke her. Nick Aldis appears on the scene to do something about it. Since both are ready for action, he proposes that Alexa and Jade face each other one-on-one here and now.
Alexa Bliss (with Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley) vs. Jade Cargill (with B-Fab and Michin)

Cathy Kelley interviews Cody Rhodes backstage. However, they are soon interrupted by Sami Zayn. The Canadian believes that Cody should apologize to him. For starters, he did not request the match from last week. Additionally, Cody won that match by taking advantage of Gunther's interference. Rhodes reminds him that he left while the Austrian was choking him with the Gojira Clutch. Sami assures him that all his instincts were telling him to help Cody, but he also knew that he needed to learn a lesson. Rhodes, for his part, hints that once he's done with Gunther, maybe he can teach Zayn a lesson.
Nick Aldis talks with Danhausen backstage. Danhausen wants to know how to carry out his experiments. Nick replies that he should improvise. Immediately, Danhausen leaves the place. The Miz appears on the scene to indicate to the General Manager that he will not face Axiom in his house. Not without the support of Kit Wilson. Aldis reminds him that it won't be Kit who fights tonight, but The Miz. Also, his match is next, so he suggests he gets ready quickly. Meanwhile, in the background, we see Danhausen picking things from backstage.

Damian makes it clear that his partner is R-Truth, and he won't team up with anyone else. Also, he doesn't trust Royce, who seems to know Solo Sikoa very well. R-Truth asks them both if they are afraid of facing MFT. Damian and Keys make it clear that they are not. R-Truth acknowledges that he organized this meeting to force them to team up. And that's exactly what they'll do. R-Truth leaves to end the segment.
Sami Zayn "converses" with Johnny Gargano (ignoring Candice LeRae in the process). Matt Cardona appears on the scene to ask the Canadian if he's okay, as it seems he's talking to the wall. Zayn asks him to show a little more respect for Gargano. Cardona acknowledges that things are not going as well as he would like after five months in the company, but that's no reason to behave like Sami. Tired of being disrespected, Zayn challenges Matt to settle this in the ring tonight. Matt advises him to keep talking to Gargano while he talks to Nick Aldis.
Rhea Ripley approaches Charlotte Flair in the infirmary. "The Queen" informs the Australian that Alexa Bliss is sore, but also furious, just like her. Ripley promises her that she will end Jade Cargill. Flair hopes that's the case. Otherwise, she will take care of "The Storm" herself.

Not only because of the physical risks he takes when he steps into the ring, but also because of the lighting problem, which ultimately cost him his victory. Aldis understands, and believes he knows the origin of the problem. Both arrive at Danhausen's makeshift laboratory. The Miz enters, only to be accidentally sprayed with a fire extinguisher. Gunther interrupts the segment!
"The Ring General" heads to the ring, where he is greeted with boos. "Cody, Cody Rhodes!", chants the audience. Gunther makes it clear to the fans that he did not come out to deal with them, but to tell Cody what he thinks of him. Gunther acknowledges that he has been on SmackDown for a short time, but he knows that everything must revolve around Rhodes. But it's not his fault, but the environment in which he grew up, where nepotism prevailed. Gunther, however, traveled to the United States to earn his opportunities by working hard. Cody, on the other hand, only needed to make a phone call. And that makes him a spoiled child who thinks he deserves everything. They may be coworkers, but they are not equals. Cody needs the company's approval. Not Gunther. For Gunther, the only thing that matters is protecting the sacred canvas from people like Cody.
Rhodes believes that Gunther is nothing but a liar because he actually wants everything that he possesses. Cody points out that Paul Heyman taught him everything about this business. Everything except one thing: that being a champion is addictive. And at Clash in Italy, he will show him that he is not good enough to beat him. "Gunther, I'm easy to find, hard to beat," Cody says to end his promo. "The American Nightmare" prepares to leave the ring, but Gunther stops him. "Do you think I'm a liar? I promised Goldberg I would choke him out, and I did. I promised AJ Styles I would choke him out, and I did! And I promised your great role model, John Cena, that I would make him submit, and I did! And now I promise you that on Sunday I will choke you out, leave you lying on the canvas, and take this precious prize with me!", exclaims the Austrian before leaving. Gunther heads backstage while Cody remains silent in the ring. And so we reach the end of this week's SmackDown episode.
